John Foligno has 30+ years of professional work and coaching/mentoring experience, which includes over 10 years of running his own business. Through empathy, active listening and thoughtful counsel, he lives his personal mission by inspiring people to overcome the roadblocks that prevent them from accomplishing their goals, and helps them to find enlightenment, fulfillment, and financial well-being. He specializes in supporting high-net-worth households, although he enjoys working with all manner of people. As a business owner, John learned the hard way how much he would have benefited from a financial steward who understands the myriad challenges of running a business. That experience, coupled with his passion for financial planning, enables him to relieve business owners of the day-to-day concerns of reaching their financial goals, which frees them to focus on their growth and ultimate exit strategy. As a graduate of Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management, John studied finance and marketing. John is a member of NAPFA, whose members completed a broad-based advanced education program in financial planning and are trained to provide coordinated advice on issues surrounding a client’s entire financial picture. When he is not fulfilling his fiduciary obligation of putting his client’s interest first, John is sharing time with his wife, Michelle, his daughter, Ruby, and their golden retriever, Honey. He enjoys a healthy lifestyle of strength conditioning and hiking as well as watching sports and reading. John is a first-degree black belt in Goju karate that guides his disciplined approach. He volunteers his time for the honor of helping people with limited financial education to make more informed decisions and has been featured in financial planning media journals to share his insights.

I’m Paul Cipriano, the founder of Cipriano Wealth Management. I decided to launch Cipriano Wealth Management as a fee-only, independent registered investment advisor to eliminate the inherent conflicts of interest that investors are often forced to accept when engaging with a financial advisor. I offer comprehensive financial planning under a monthly subscription service. I also combine financial planning with ongoing investment management services and charge fees based on the value of the assets managed (AUM). I prioritize the development of your unique comprehensive financial plan as the foundation of our relationship. I am not singularly focused on gathering assets and refrain from managing investment portfolios unless we have developed a strategic plan for your assets. I worked on the trading desks at several large global investment banks for over 20 years where I was responsible for advising hedge funds and asset managers on portfolio management, investment strategy and market risk. I combine that experience with my training as a CFP® professional to help middle- and high-income families from working class backgrounds achieve their personal financial goals. We have backgrounds in institutional investments, and consulting financial advisors, but we are perpetually students as well as surrounding ourselves with amazing professional alliances to help support our clients and community in every way we can. Growing up, my parents were owners of a small business that did paving and excavation services. I was able to work summers and through college and miss operating equipment. Same time I saw many of their challenges through each stage of ownership. I love helping business owners and consultants bridge their investments and behavior in alignment with their prioritized goals and intent. Working at an institutional asset manager and broker dealer allowed me to spend countless hours with amazing financial professionals (advisors, portfolio managers, economists and strategists). There is alot to learn in good times, and even more to learn in challenging times. We try to bring a long term vision and healthy perspective to meetings where clients are the ones driving to their goals with the full support of our firm and every resource we have.

Thomas Vetter is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and the founder of Vetter Planning. He chose to establish Vetter Planning because of his desire to help individuals and small businesses develop financial plans that are designed to achieve their goals. It was founded upon principles that place the utmost value on its clients’ financial goals and objectives. It is in the business of building long-term, solid relationships that are based upon trust and quality client service. Since 2002, Tom has been providing financial planning and investment advice. He graduated from Siena College in Loudonville, NY with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Prior to founding Vetter Planning, he was a Senior Financial Analyst for Guardian Life and an Investment Analyst for NYC Housing Development Corporation. Tom resides in Randolph, New Jersey with his wife, Jennifer, son Gavin, and daughters, Abigail and Claire. His interests include volunteering, coaching youth sports, golf, and mountain biking.
