Candace Dowell

David Lloyd is the Resident Director at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in Roanoke, a position he has held since 2021. He joined Merrill Lynch in 2008 and became part of Angle, Lloyd and Associates in 2016. David focuses on providing comprehensive financial planning and investment advisory services tailored to the unique circumstances of individuals and families. His client services include college education planning, divorce transition planning, family wealth management strategies, legacy planning, retirement income planning, and portfolio management, among others. David graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Roanoke College in 1996. Prior to his career in financial services, he gained managerial experience in the building materials industry and has also owned and operated small businesses. He holds the Personal Investment Advisor (PIA) designation. David has worked closely with multiple generations of families and places emphasis on supporting clients through significant financial transitions. Outside of his professional role, David has been involved in community leadership, including serving as Chair of the Community School Board. He resides in Roanoke and has personal interests in camping, cooking, hiking, music, reading, singing, traveling, and woodworking.
