Alec Lindenauer is a Wealth Management Advisor and principal of The Wynn-Lindenauer Group at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. He holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) certification, awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., along with other professional designations including Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA), Personal Investment Advisor (PIA), and Retirement Accredited Financial Advisor (RAFA). Alec focuses on holistic wealth management, encompassing investment management, retirement and estate planning, asset preservation, liability management, philanthropy, and corporate services.
With over 20 years of experience in financial services since beginning his career in 2005, Alec provides guidance tailored to the diverse needs of affluent families, corporations, endowments, and foundations. As part of a mother-son advisory team, he brings a unique perspective on family wealth dynamics and specializes in areas such as divorce transition planning, education planning, legacy planning, liquidity management, and philanthropic planning. Prior to his financial services career, Alec gained business experience by launching two companies over nine years, equipping him to assist clients with specialized business issues.
Alec earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida. He is involved in the professional organization Cents of Responsibility and is an active participant in community efforts to help parents teach their children about money. Outside of work, Alec enjoys biking, golfing, hiking, photography, racquetball, rock climbing, skiing, traveling, watching movies, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
