It's my mission to make sure that all streamers learn how to run their businesses and manage their personal finances. I want to help you transition from an accidental business owner to someone who acts with intention and knowledge. Most of us weren't taught those skills in school. I see so much potential in all of you and I don't want something as manageable as taxes get in your way. I couldn't find any traditional planning firms working with streamers so I went out and started my own. I have always had an obsession with video games. WoW basically consumed my college life. When I moved halfway across the country for a new job I found my friends in the StarCraft club at work. I watch professional DotA 2 and StarCraft whenever I can. My current addiction is Rimworld. For the credentials: I'm a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional and have my MBA in personal financial planning. Additionally, I write for StreamerSquare as well as my own blog.

I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley in LA. I spent a few years away while at San Diego State University. After graduating, I spent nearly nine months in Israel working odd jobs and enjoying time with my friends and family. I came back to LA in 2014 where I got my first "real" job at a large insurance and investment firm. I got licensed as a financial advisor in 2015, which allowed me to focus full time on financial planning and investment management. I earned my CFP® certification in 2017, and soon after in 2018, I decided it was time to start my own firm. I wanted to leave the whole corporate structure behind and work with the clients who I wanted to work with. I was tired of various sales quotas and metrics. Natalia Avila is a Senior Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. She joined the firm in March 2017, drawn by its goals-based wealth management process, global resources, and integrated services designed to help clients pursue their financial goals. Natalia develops personalized wealth management strategies that reflect clients’ priorities and adapt to changing market conditions, leveraging insights from Merrill Lynch and banking solutions from Bank of America. Natalia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and serves as a Personal Investment Advisor (PIA). She has seven years of military experience, having completed two tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Her areas of client focus include retirement planning, family wealth management, legacy planning, investment strategy, and services tailored for military and law enforcement personnel. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Natalia supports community efforts such as Homes4Families and Operation Gratitude. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exercising, golfing, hiking, music, reading, soccer, and tennis.
