Today’s modern wealth builders understand they need someone to represent their best interests in a non-commission based fiduciary role, someone who also has access to the institutional level products and a massive research database. For the past 26 years, Jarrod Winkcompleck has offered clients both. Jarrod started his working life as an investment advisor with a national brokerage firm before becoming a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), assisting our nation’s veterans as a Senior Financial Planner for USAA. In addition to this professional designation, Jarrod has qualified for and then earned six more highly valued professional designations: Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®), Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC®), Cash Balance Consultant (CBC®), Certified Health Savings Advisor (CHSA®), and Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL®). As his professional career advanced, he served as Director of Business Development and Senior Planner for one of Texas’ largest and most profitable Registered Investment Advisors. In recent years, he also acted as Partner and Senior Advisor to a specialized private wealth management firm before founding Gap Financial Services, a firm birthed from his desire to bring honesty and integrity to all clients seeking to build their financial legacies. In 2019, he accepted an appointment from the Texas Lt. Governor to serve on the Texas Prepaid Higher Education Tuition Board, a group of experts dedicated to managing the Texas Tuition Promise Fund and Texas 529 Savings Plan. He graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a BBA in Finance. Jarrod has been married for twenty-nine years and has one high-school aged daughter.
