I’m Cody Lachner, a financial planner and outdoor enthusiast who loves helping individuals live more intentional lives. Not everyone strives for the traditional retirement where you work a 9-5 until 65, but, much of the financial services industry is built around this old goal.
There’s been a lack of advice & guidance for folks who want to do things their own way. Maybe you aim to take a mid-career sabbatical, or live in an RV travelling 6+ months per year, or retire early to spend more time outdoors, or simply reduce the amount of time you spend worrying about money…
Whatever your goal, I’m here to serve as your financial guide to help you prepare and navigate your way to & through your goals. As your financial guide, I also help reduce your time spent on financial decisions so you have more time to devote towards the things you love.
I use technology to work with individuals virtually, throughout the country. As long as you have internet, we can work together to plan for your dream life!
Personally:
My wife and I love the outdoors! We spend our time hiking, camping/backpacking, mountain biking, packrafting, and literally anything else outdoors. Our favorite place in the world is Alaska. We find ourselves going back again and again. My favorite trip was hiking the Stampede Trail in 2021 (this trail was made famous by the book & movie – Into the Wild).

I work to help folks manage their wealth and the way they think about it... I am an Indy-based financial advisor and founder of BBK Wealth. I grew up on the border of NY and PA in “the valley” and later in the finger lakes region where his parents still live. Seneca Lake is his proud home. Why Indiana? I attended Notre Dame to earn my degree in Finance and then my masters in Education. Now – me and my wife, Maggie, have 4 kids (KCMT) and a great dog named Winnie. BBK is a wealth management company that serves families. We all have families, some BIG. We want to see them all live in retirement with pride, dignity, and financial security. We NEVER want anyone to be harmed or left out in the cold because they did not trust the right team to manage their wealth. We’re passionate about that. We are committed to that.
