My name is Cameron Folse, and I am the founder of Folse Financial. I believe that professional financial advice should be simple and streamlined. Our focus is on flat fees, a modern digital experience, and fiduciary advice. After over 6 years in the financial services industry, I realized that the industry has a transparency problem. Many clients do not know how much they pay their advisor, either through insurance commissions or through investment management fees. Whether the fees are high, low, or just right, people should know exactly how much they are paying so they can be able to decide for themselves if what they are paying for is worth it. That is why Folse Financial is founded on flat, clear fees that are based on the complexity of your situation, not how much you decide to invest with us. I also pride myself on giving fiduciary advice. One thing many people don't know is that some advisors are not always fiduciaries. Some advisors wear several hats, and are only legally fiduciaries when making certain types of recommendations. With the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification, we are required to be fiduciaries at all times. In today's world, it's not enough to have transparent fees and give excellent advice. Clients also deserve a digital experience as well. We have set up systems to allow clients to view their entire financial picture in one place and allow them to track their progress towards their planning goals. The process of opening accounts and signing paperwork is entirely digitalized, saving hours of time for my clients and for myself. These are our 3 focuses for our business. I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, an Accredited Behavioral Finance Professional™️, and the founder of Ryerson Financial. I started Ryerson Financial to make financial planning more accessible to mid-career families and individuals who struggle to find unbiased financial advice. After working in financial services and wealth management for most of my career, I found myself frequently frustrated by the opaqueness of the industry. I observed that the complicated investment products and confusing account types did not foster client understanding. Ryerson Financial was born to empower clients and simplify the financial planning experience. My goal is to help clients prioritize financial health amidst the competing demands of life. As an advice-only financial planning firm, I focus on teaching clients the skills to effectively manage their finances. I work with individuals and families interested in taking control of their unique financial stories. Outside work, I spend most of my time with my husband and three kids. We live in Houston, TX, where I enjoy reading (or listening!) to a broad array of books, staying active, and volunteering at my children’s school. I also serve as a volunteer financial coach with Savvy Ladies.

Concert Financial Planning is designed for BigLaw attorneys, who feel like their life is going “live” and need to take action to manage their finances. There are many reasons that people find themselves looking for help, each one specific to their own story and situation. Whatever your reasons may be, I created Concert Financial Planning to help you organize your finances and get on the right path to achieving your goals. I named the firm “Concert” for two reasons: One, it speaks to my personality and passion outside of work, in that I’ve played music since I was 9 years old. But more importantly, it speaks to the need to have all of the different aspects of your financial life work together “in concert”. I help you create a comprehensive strategy that looks at your cash flow, budget, retirement plan at work, investment accounts, student loans, emergency funds, insurance, estate plan (yes, you need one), tax strategy, and so much more. All of these things need to work together in order for any of them to be effective. While a lot of these things sound boring compared to the excitement (or anxiety) that come along with investing, they are important. The good news is that by working with a professional, you can offload much of the day-to-day work that is required to maintain a financial plan, and instead focus on the things in life that are more important to you. That is why I’m here. My formal background is this: I grew up in a family of financial professionals (grandfather, dad, and brother). I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in Economics and have been working in the financial services industry ever since (15+ years). During that time, I not only obtained the requisite licenses, but earned rigorous certifications focused on financial planning (CFP®) and investment management (CFA®). After working with clients that were financial advisors themselves at large bank brokerages and independent firms across the country, I launched Concert Financial Planning to focus on what I found to be an under-served market: you! My goal is to help high income individuals and families get on the right track early on so that they can avoid pitfalls and missed opportunities that can add up by the time most people get help, in or near retirement. I spent 14 years at Shell as an engineer and a leader. I know what it's like to be a professional at a large energy company: fascinating work, great people, and excellent pay, accompanied by frequent lay-offs, corporate bureaucracy, and never-ending meetings. My favorite part was helping people realize the career they desired. Now, I help people optimize their finances to realize the life they desire. I chose to leave Shell and transition into financial advising to go from work I liked to work I love. We welcome families just starting to build wealth and enjoy helping LGBTQ families navigate their unique challenges. I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, and a Project Management Professional® with a degree in Economics and English from Rice University. Prior to founding WorthWise, I worked at Aon Hewitt for over 20 years working with large companies to help their employees protect their families and achieve financial goals through retirement and insurance programs. As I talked with friends and neighbors with growing families I recognized the challenges they faced juggling competing financial priorities. I also observed the missteps they often took through lack of the time or knowledge to successfully navigate their financial lives and the perception that financial planning was just for the already wealthy. I am now putting my decades of experience to work helping families turn their hopes and dreams into achievable goals! I have two kids in college and live with my husband in Houston, Texas. I serve clients virtually across the U.S. and currently have clients in 11 states. When I'm not financial planning or reading about financial news and trends, I enjoy cooking, wine, gardening, and SCUBA diving.
