Hey there, I’m Leland! I love building relationships and coaching people, which is what really brought me alive during the 6 years I worked in the personal finance industry before starting PeaceLink Financial Planning LLC (PLFP). It has been said that personal finance is more personal than finance. I find that true. Finances touch every area of one’s life. Finances are a tool in our lives that can cause one of two things; they can be a source of stress and anxiety or a source of confidence and excitement. I am passionate about helping individuals and families foster confidence and an abundance mindset around their life goals through the financial planning process. After many years working in the insurance and broker-dealer world, I grew tired of transactional relationships. I was working to do financial planning, but It was more product sales than relationships. That is where PeaceLink Financial Planning LLC came in. When I am not working with my clients, you can find me spending time with my wife, Lindy, our son, Levi, and our pup, Sutton, being with family and friends, playing pickleball, or doing anything that involves water (swimming, surfing, boating, drinking water, etc). I’m Mike Hunsberger, the founder and owner of Next Mission Financial Planning. I loved my 25-years in the Air Force but wanted to do something different when I retired. I’ve always enjoyed financial planning for myself as well as for friends and family. I help clients build the life they want by balancing living today with building wealth for the future. Gradually increasing savings rates and staying invested over the long term is the best way I found to do that. I’m a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Chartered Financial Consultant, Certified College Financial Consultant, and Military Qualified Financial Planner. I primarily work with senior military, veterans, and military retirees preparing for their ultimate retirement. I also specialize in college funding plans for families who want to send their children to college without jeopardizing the future.
