For over sixteen years I’ve had the privilege of helping people with their finances. During that time I’ve worked with hundreds of clients with a broad range of goals, from young professionals early in their careers to multiple generations of ultra high net worth families. At a high level, my approach is very simple: - Invest early and often - Avoid costly mistakes - Focus on things you can control Much of the value I deliver for clients is through the thoughtful implementation and ongoing reinforcement of these concepts throughout your financial life. Prior to launching KV Financial Advice in 2024, I spent three years as a lead advisor and team leader at one of the largest fee-only independent wealth management firms in the country. In addition to working with many wonderful clients, I served the firm’s other advisors as head subject matter expert on planning for stock-based compensation and led the firm’s summer associate internship program. I am a two-time graduate of Georgia Tech and have been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional since 2011. I live in Sandy Springs, GA with my beautiful wife of over 11 years, three year old son, and two extremely energetic puppies.

Phillip Hulme, grew up believing there was a better way. Money was tight, his parents worked long hours and yet there never seemed to be enough to escape the grind. If it wasn't one thing, it was another. As fortune would have it, Phillip had a mentor in the Army who spotted his curiosity for finance and guided him to read and learn more. It lit a fire inside of Phillip and he has never looked back. After serving in the U.S. Army for over 7 years as a special operations signal soldier, Phillip sharpened his passion for finance and his strategic mindset by earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance and an MBA with concentrations in both Finance and Strategy. Phillip went to work in corporate America earning, saving and investing all along. After he achieved financial independence at the age of 34, he decided to follow his calling by sharing his learnings with the people who have given us all so much, the Veterans of this great country.

As the daughter of a banker, I learned early on that if I wanted something, I had to earn it. I rolled my dad’s spare change for a 10% cut and birthday presents were stock certificates … not exactly on my wish list. At 16, I was already investing in the stock market and experiencing the sense of freedom and independence that comes when you understand your money. With this knowledge, I was paving the way to live life on my terms. This was so intoxicating I became a financial advisor to share my passion with others. As a financial advisor, I quickly learned that most women did not share my love of investing. In fact, many felt intimidated, guilty, and uncomfortable with their lack of knowledge, yet they yearn for financial independence. That’s why my true purpose as a financial advisor is to create an environment where women (and those who love them) feel heard, where they are encouraged and supported to express their fears and concerns without judgement. My unique brilliance is creating a positive wealth management experience, so they become more engaged in the conversation, while building the knowledge and confidence they need to live life on their terms.

I’ve served as a personal financial planner for a quarter century. I’ve worked in multiple roles, including leadership positions, but I’ve always served as a client relationship advisor. I’ve worked for very large firms, and I’ve co-owned a startup which developed into a leading multi-state firm. Today, I own and operate a boutique firm designed to offer concierge family office services and trusted financial guidance to select individuals and families.
