I’m Glenn Brown, a Certified Financial Planner™ and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor with 30 years in wealth management. In 2017, I founded PlanDynamic, LLC to provide fee-only fiduciary advice, investment management, and comprehensive financial planning directly to motivated individuals. I focus on financial independence—not just retirement. By aligning your plan with your values, we build a staged, evolving roadmap that opens new choices along the way. Using adaptable technology, we model scenarios, track progress, and adjust actions in real time, so you understand the impact of every decision. As a ‘Sandwicher’ raising two daughters while supporting aging parents alongside my wife Karina, I understand the challenges of balancing time, priorities, and decisions to benefit both now and in the future. My goal is simple: help you gain clarity, act with confidence, and enjoy your journey to financial independence.

My Philosophy on Money While there is plenty of academic research that suggests money doesn’t make you happy once your basic needs are met, I do think it has a lot of potential to make you unhappy no matter how much you have. I, therefore, seek first and foremost to use money as a tool for achieving equanimity and peace of mind for my clients. My goal is not to help you maximize your net worth or income but instead to help you think through your values and act accordingly. Money, when handled correctly, can be an incredible tool for reducing stress, achieving a feeling of security for you and your family and giving you the freedom to pursue your dreams. My hope is that I can be a coach and guide to help you along that path. My Qualifications Other than your health, your money is perhaps the most personal and impactful area of your life. Just like with your doctor, trust is crucial. So why should you trust me to know what I’m doing? Here are a few of the things that I’ve done that have prepared me to handle your money with care and expertise. - I have nearly two decades of experience in financial services at multiple well-known firms, including Fidelity Investments, Charles Schwab and Goldman Sachs. - I have earned the well-regarded Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. If you’re unfamiliar with the CFA you can read more about it on the CFA Institute website, but the following is a brief excerpt: “The CFA designation is one of the most respected and recognized investment management designations in the world. To earn the charter, candidates must pass all three levels of the exam, which is considered to be the most rigorous exam in the investment profession … Less than one in five candidates who begin the program end up finishing … Candidates study approximately 1,000 hours on average to master 8,500 pages of curriculum. The CFA Program curriculum includes ethical and professional standards; financial reporting and analysis; corporate finance; economics; quantitative methods; equity; fixed income; alternative investments; derivatives; portfolio management; and wealth planning.” - I have an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, ranked by Forbes Magazine as the #1 MBA program in the country and by US News and Bloomberg BusinessWeek as among the top 3. On a personal note I live with my wife and two young children in Boston, Massachusetts where I enjoy spending as much time as possible outside with my family and appreciating everything the city has to offer. I’ve run nearly a dozen marathons, including a personal best of just under 2 hours 55 minutes at the 2017 Boston Marathon. In my spare time I love to learn about anything and everything and am an avid reader of books of all types.

I began my career in the financial services industry nearly ten years ago. Prior to founding Dreamfield Planning Group, I served as an associate wealth management advisor at Sconset Wealth Management—an advisory practice nested in the downtown Boston office of Northwestern Mutual—where I developed financial plans and managed investment assets. In a preceding role in the same office, I led an internal business unit providing investment consulting services to multiple financial advisors representing more than $200 million of assets under management (AUM). Previous to that, I served as an associate financial advisor at a Foxborough, Massachusetts financial planning practice and as a research analyst at a Cambridge, Massachusetts public policy research firm. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in History from Hendrix College and a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University. I am both a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and a CFA Charterholder. I have lived for many years in Milton, Massachusetts with my wife Allie and our son Ben. In my spare time, I enjoy travel, reading, playing guitar, and taking long walks with the family dog, Louie.

New Shore Financial was born from my passion to help professional women navigate the challenges associated with financial changes in their lives. Too often, I see women who have remained hands-off or simply have no time when it comes to their family finances. When faced with new choices or challenges, they are not sure which is the best financial decision given their personal circumstances. I am committed to helping women understand and take control of their financial life. As a young woman, it was important for me to be financially independent. I remember hiring my first CPA to do my taxes and my father saying, “Don’t just file those away. Look them over and get an understanding of what’s going on”. I heeded his advice and learned I actually enjoyed diving into the numbers. I found that I had a strong interest in personal finance. I enjoyed reading about it, learning new strategies and implementing what I learned in my own financial life. My strengths and interests came together for me in a career path that allows me to help others navigate their own finances in a way they can understand, implement and feel confident about.

Chris grew up working alongside his father, uncles, and cousins in their family-owned manufacturing business in Michigan. This familial proximity provided Chris with a unique perspective on hard work and sacrifice, while exposing him to the challenges and opportunities that often occur with closely-held family-owned businesses. A self-professed financial theory geek, Chris has a strange need to prove out financial models for himself in an Excel spreadsheet before accepting them as gospel. This passion for knowledge started with an economics degree from Vassar College, followed by a Master’s in Economics from Cambridge University in England. Chris then went on to serve as an adjunct professor at the Brandeis Graduate School of International Economics and Finance. Chris spent much of his professional career leveraging his knowledge, experience, and insight for the betterment of large institutions. He authored several chapters in “The Handbook of Fixed Income Securities,” including one that was selected for the Chartered Financial Analyst Level III curriculum. Professionally, he has served as an institutional portfolio manager with Fidelity as well as a portfolio advisor with Wellington Management, Putnam Investments, and Zurich Scudder Investments. With Chris, our clients are receiving world class portfolio management, critical thinking, and problem-solving strategies. Through his decades of institutional investment experience, Chris has gained valuable insight that he is now bringing to his individual clients at Impact Advisors Group. In his personal life, Chris is an avid pilot. He frequently flies for Above the Clouds, a nonprofit organization that provides flight experiences for underprivileged or sick children, and for Pilot AirLift Services, a nonprofit that provides non-emergency medical transportation. When he is not airborne, his feet are firmly planted in his wine cellar collecting single malt scotch and fine wine.
