My name is Cameron Folse, and I am the founder of Folse Financial. I believe that professional financial advice should be simple and streamlined. Our focus is on flat fees, a modern digital experience, and fiduciary advice. After over 6 years in the financial services industry, I realized that the industry has a transparency problem. Many clients do not know how much they pay their advisor, either through insurance commissions or through investment management fees. Whether the fees are high, low, or just right, people should know exactly how much they are paying so they can be able to decide for themselves if what they are paying for is worth it. That is why Folse Financial is founded on flat, clear fees that are based on the complexity of your situation, not how much you decide to invest with us. I also pride myself on giving fiduciary advice. One thing many people don't know is that some advisors are not always fiduciaries. Some advisors wear several hats, and are only legally fiduciaries when making certain types of recommendations. With the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification, we are required to be fiduciaries at all times. In today's world, it's not enough to have transparent fees and give excellent advice. Clients also deserve a digital experience as well. We have set up systems to allow clients to view their entire financial picture in one place and allow them to track their progress towards their planning goals. The process of opening accounts and signing paperwork is entirely digitalized, saving hours of time for my clients and for myself. These are our 3 focuses for our business. Prior to founding WorthWise, I worked at Aon Hewitt for over 20 years working with large companies to help their employees protect their families and achieve financial goals through retirement and insurance programs. As I talked with friends and neighbors with growing families I recognized the challenges they faced juggling competing financial priorities. I also observed the missteps they often took through lack of the time or knowledge to successfully navigate their financial lives and the perception that financial planning was just for the already wealthy. I am now putting my decades of experience to work helping families turn their hopes and dreams into achievable goals! I have two kids in college and live with my husband in Houston, Texas. I serve clients virtually across the U.S. and currently have clients in 11 states. When I'm not financial planning or reading about financial news and trends, I enjoy cooking, wine, gardening, and SCUBA diving. Concert Financial Planning is designed for BigLaw attorneys, who feel like their life is going “live” and need to take action to manage their finances. I named the firm “Concert” for two reasons: One, it speaks to my personality and passion outside of work, in that I’ve played music since I was 9 years old. But more importantly, it speaks to the need to have all of the different aspects of your financial life work together “in concert”. I help you create a comprehensive strategy that looks at your cash flow, budget, retirement plan at work, investment accounts, student loans, emergency funds, insurance, estate plan (yes, you need one), tax strategy, and so much more. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in Economics and have been working in the financial services industry ever since (15+ years). During that time, I not only obtained the requisite licenses, but earned rigorous certifications focused on financial planning (CFP®) and investment management (CFA®). After working with clients that were financial advisors themselves at large bank brokerages and independent firms across the country, I launched Concert Financial Planning to focus on what I found to be an under-served market: you! My goal is to help high income individuals and families get on the right track early on so that they can avoid pitfalls and missed opportunities that can add up by the time most people get help, in or near retirement.
