About

Watchtower Advisors, LP provides discretionary investment management to pooled vehicles — an onshore feeder, an offshore feeder and a Cayman master fund — and currently serves accredited and qualified purchaser investors such as high‑net‑worth individuals, funds of funds, pension plans, endowments, foundations and family offices. The firm manages the Funds on the terms set forth in each Fund’s offering documents and does not tailor its advisory services to individual investors.

The Adviser pursues a concentrated, fundamentally driven long/short equity strategy that targets mispricing and catalysts, emphasizing bottom‑up security selection, proprietary idea generation and position‑level risk budgets as part of pre‑trade portfolio construction. Watchtower’s disclosure also describes use of leverage, hedging and a range of derivative and financing tools, active liquidity monitoring, and an emphasis on small/mid‑cap, distressed and special‑situation opportunities.

What is distinctive in the Brochure is the breadth of instruments and trading practices the Adviser contemplates: the disclosures repeatedly refer to transactions in “securities, commodities, other financial instruments,” the use of futures and other derivatives, and repurchase/reverse‑repurchase financing — a mix that is less common among investment managers that focus primarily on public equities. The firm also describes cross‑trade arrangements, soft‑dollar research relationships and an advisory board process for reviewing related‑party transactions, which can affect trade allocation and oversight.
