Wasatch Equity Partners provides discretionary investment management to pooled investment vehicles (the Funds) that target early-stage opportunities in medtech, proptech, energy, and enterprise services. In addition to managing the Funds, the Adviser provides accounting services to certain portfolio companies and is affiliated with a registered adviser that pursues real estate and venture-capital lending strategies.

The Adviser emphasizes sourcing through strategic connections and synergies with the broader Wasatch Group, screening opportunities for product-market fit, experienced management, and acceptable valuations. It executes transactions through a variety of structures — including SAFEs, convertible notes, direct equity and special-purpose vehicles — and may hold either controlling or non-controlling positions, occasionally providing operational or management support for portfolio companies.

Distinctive operational features include the Adviser’s direct provision of accounting services to portfolio companies and its ability to negotiate side letters and selective co-investment opportunities for certain investors, which can result in differentiated terms or reporting for some Fund Investors. Certain Funds may be highly concentrated, and the Adviser or its affiliates may receive performance-based compensation and founders-equity arrangements, creating potential allocation and incentive considerations that the Adviser addresses in its policies.
