About
Tyndale Investments provides discretionary investment management and related services to individuals, families and not-for-profit organizations, and may also act as investment adviser to ERISA retirement plans. It also offers account administration, financial planning, estate planning and consulting, documenting client objectives and constraints in an Investment Policy Statement.
The firm constructs client portfolios primarily from an approved list of exchange-traded funds, selecting ETFs from a broad population with attention to return potential, risk profile and expense ratios, and implements conservative, moderate or aggressive allocations consistent with each client’s IPS. Tyndale retains discretion to select securities from its approved list, periodically reviews that list, and will provide analysis and advice regarding assets held outside accounts it manages (for example, concentrated stock positions).
Tyndale is affiliated with its principal’s CPA practice, and the managing member holds both CPA and CFA designations and spends a substantial portion of time on tax and consulting work; the brochure notes conflicts arising from that affiliation would be disclosed and managed. The firm’s willingness to serve ERISA plans and provide pension consulting is also highlighted as a less common service offering for peers of its size and structure.
