The Portfolio Strategy Group (PSG) provides discretionary portfolio management, financial planning, and retirement-plan fiduciary services to individuals (including high‑net‑worth clients), trusts, pension and profit‑sharing plans, and other institutional and corporate entities. In addition to separately managed accounts, PSG acts as investment manager and adviser to pooled investment vehicles, including a domestic fund and an offshore feeder fund that invest primarily in hedge funds and other private funds.

PSG’s approach combines in‑house portfolio management (notably for fixed income and an Equity Income strategy) with the selection and monitoring of external managers; it tailors advice to client objectives and permits clients to impose investment restrictions. The firm implements cash management solutions and manages investments in held‑away accounts through third‑party intermediaries, and its analysis includes fundamental bond review and manager due diligence.

Compared with many peers, PSG operates pooled fund vehicles and uses performance‑based compensation arrangements, and it relies on exemptions from CPO/CTA registration in providing certain commodity‑related advisory services.
