About

Huntington Financial Advisors (the advisory trade name of The Huntington Investment Company) provides investment advisory and wrap-fee managed account programs, brokerage and insurance services to individuals (including high‑net‑worth clients), trusts, retirement plans and corporate/business clients. Services are delivered through an Envestnet Managed Account Solutions (MAS) platform and Huntington acts as a fiduciary with respect to retirement accounts when providing investment advice.

The firm uses an open‑architecture model that combines third‑party Sub‑Managers and Wrap Strategists with Huntington’s own offerings, including Representative as Portfolio Manager (RPM) and Private Wealth Consulting programs, discretionary SMA and UMA strategies, and overlay options such as tax‑loss harvesting and impact overlays. Client profiles are collected via advisor‑assisted questionnaires, portfolios are rebalanced against model drift parameters and Huntington documents annual managed account reviews and an Advisory Satisfaction Promise as part of its client service processes.

Compared with many peers, Huntington is also a dual registrant with broker‑dealer activity, is affiliated with a banking institution and with municipal advisory capabilities, and makes proprietary Huntington Dynamic Portfolios (HDP) available through its Private Bank division. Those affiliations create revenue linkages when affiliate managers are selected; the brochure describes disclosures, IA Committee oversight, Envestnet due diligence, and supervisory controls (including proxy voting arrangements) that the firm uses to manage those conflicts.
