About

The Fiduciary Group provides wealth management, financial planning, and separately managed account services primarily to high-net-worth individuals and families, as well as trusts, estates, nonprofit organizations, and pension and profit‑sharing plans. It also serves as an ERISA Section 3(38) investment manager for participant‑directed 401(k) plans and offers both discretionary and non‑discretionary portfolio management, with about $1.97 billion reported under management as of December 31, 2025.

The firm’s investment process is driven by fundamental research conducted by an in‑house investment team and reviewed by a monthly Investment Committee; portfolios are managed according to a documented Investment Policy Statement and aligned with one of four general strategies (Capital Preservation; Income with Growth; Growth with Income; Growth of Principal). Smaller accounts generally follow model portfolios using mutual funds and ETFs, while accounts above $500,000 are typically managed as “hybrid” portfolios that combine individual securities, bonds, and funds and are reviewed on a quarterly or annual basis depending on account type.

TFG is an indirect, wholly owned subsidiary of Focus Financial Partners and, through that parent, has arrangements that are uncommon among peers: it offers certain clients optional access to affiliated private investment vehicles managed by SCS Capital Management LLC and Origin, and it introduces clients to affiliate Focus Risk Solutions for insurance placement while using intermediaries UPTIQ and Flourish to facilitate credit and cash management solutions. The firm also accepts trustee, executor, and power‑of‑attorney appointments by principals for clients and participates in adviser‑matching programs (SmartAsset and Acceleration One), all of which create conflicts the firm discloses and manages in its Form ADV.
