About

Sustainable Financial Planning LLC is a small, independent registered investment adviser serving individual and high‑net‑worth clients. The firm offers individualized investment management alongside project‑based, hourly, and ongoing comprehensive financial planning that addresses retirement, cash flow, college savings, business planning, risk management, and estate‑related topics.

The firm combines passive portfolio construction—using index mutual funds and ETFs to capture asset‑class returns—with fundamental analysis to inform asset allocation and portfolio design, and implements client investment policy statements for discretionary management. Trading is executed on an account‑by‑account basis rather than through aggregated block trades, and clients retain responsibility for proxy voting while custody and execution are arranged through a recommended institutional custodian.

Noteworthy aspects include a very small client roster and solo‑practitioner structure supported by a principal with multiple professional designations and prior institutional experience, which concentrates advisory oversight. The firm does not accept third‑party compensation for product sales, generally limits custody to fee withdrawal only, offers a subscription‑style ongoing planning service with implementation and monitoring, and does not provide separate written reports to investment advisory clients.
