About

OMERS Infrastructure US Limited provides advisory and asset management services to Infrastructure Canada in support of OMERS Administration Corporation’s (AC) administration of the OMERS primary pension plan and to institutional co‑investors through co‑investment programs, including the Global Strategic Investment Alliance (GSIA) and syndication opportunities. The firm serves only institutional clients and, as of December 31, 2025, reported approximately USD $17.75 billion of non‑discretionary assets under management.

The firm targets private infrastructure investments—primarily in energy, transportation, digital infrastructure and other essential assets in North America and Western Europe—and uses intensive business, legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, environmental and technical due diligence together with negotiated transaction structuring and closing coordination. Although the Registrant generally provides non‑discretionary advice and ongoing asset management (including board representation and monitoring of Operating Companies and Asset Holding Companies), its programs may involve the use of leverage, third‑party financing and hedging strategies, and affiliated entities participate in derivatives transactions for certain clients.

OMERS Infrastructure US is a wholly‑owned subsidiary of Infrastructure Canada and operates as a sub‑adviser tied closely to a large public pension sponsor, a structure that has it managing predominantly institutional, non‑discretionary capital and presenting governance and allocation dynamics different from managers of discretionary pooled funds. Its operational model also includes notable affiliate relationships—such as the use of OMERS Capital Markets for hedging and filings by affiliates for CFTC exemptions related to commodity‑style activity—which, together with mandated co‑investment protocols and board‑level asset management responsibilities, distinguish its setup from many peers.
