My name is Rob Stromberg. I’m a CFP® and the founder of Mountain River Financial. I provide fiduciary and fee-only advice, investment management, and financial planning to six-figure earners in their 30s and 40s. I focus on helping clients make wise and purposeful decisions with their money so they can live a rewarding life today while building wealth for a successful tomorrow. With insight gained from my time working at an institutional wealth management firm in Connecticut where I consulted with other independent advisory firms to help them build better portfolios for their clients and more efficient overall advisory practices, I got my CFP® certification and founded Mountain River Financial so that I could begin working directly with my core client market of high-income earners under 50. I’m an active member of NAPFA and the XY planning network and am a frequent contributor to publications including The Wall Street Journal, US News & World Report, The Washington Post, Investment News, CNN Business, Nerdwallet and Yahoo! Finance, among others. Above all else, I’m committed to being the best husband and dad I can be. When I’m not manning the helm at Mountain River, you’ll find me enjoying quality time with my wife Kara, son Noah, daughter Addison, and our dog Autumn. We love spending time at the shore, generally enjoying the outdoors, and hanging together with our large extended family around the mid Atlantic.
