About

Level Financial Advisors serves individuals and families, high-net-worth clients, trusts, estates, non-profit organizations, and small-business retirement plans. The firm provides discretionary portfolio management using mutual funds and ETFs, ongoing financial planning and consulting, 401(k) plan advisory and participant education, and standalone planning engagements for clients who do not want investment management.

The firm follows an asset-allocation approach and constructs diversified portfolios from mutual fund and ETF models, generally relying on third-party fund managers (including Dimensional funds when appropriate) and acting as a fiduciary. Level conducts periodic multi-advisor reviews and rebalancing, and it also manages held-away defined contribution accounts with discretion through a third-party order-management platform to pursue tax-efficient asset location and opportunistic rebalancing.

Compared with many peer teams, Level maintains a larger multi-office footprint and produces a quarterly client letter that it also sells to other advisory firms, both of which are uncommon for firms in this category. It additionally offers employee education and participant communication programs tied to its 401(k) services and has expanded its on-going financial planning program to serve clients who do not want or need investment management.
