About

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC provides institutional consulting services to institutional clients such as corporations, foundations, and defined contribution plan sponsors, offering asset allocation advice, investment manager and fund searches, and customized performance reporting delivered through a select group of Wealth Advisors. As a subsidiary of J.P. Morgan, JPMS provides these advisory services alongside affiliated brokerage, distribution, and investment management capabilities.

The Program is delivered on a non‑discretionary basis: Wealth Advisors and the firm recommend asset allocations and Investment Products, but clients retain final decision‑making and execution authority. Recommendations and monitoring rely on an in‑house manager solutions team and a centralized due‑diligence framework (including an ESG eligibility process) and the firm’s reporting can include issuer‑provided alternative investment performance information that JPMS does not independently verify.

Compared with many peers, JPMS combines large institutional advisory operations with additional market‑facing registrations and functions: it is registered as both a broker‑dealer and investment adviser and is also registered with the CFTC as a futures commission merchant and operates as a commodity pool operator on an exempt basis. The firm generally charges asset‑based advisory fees rather than fixed fees and compensates Wealth Advisors from those advisory revenues, and it discloses and manages the attendant conflicts through policies, supervision, and written disclosures.
