About

Impact Advisors Group provides discretionary investment management and a range of financial planning services to individuals, high‑net‑worth households, and employer plan sponsors. The firm's planning offerings include ongoing comprehensive planning, project‑based engagements, and hourly consultations, in addition to employee benefit plan consulting for plan sponsors.

IAG constructs individualized investment policies and manages accounts under discretionary authority, using Modern Portfolio Theory and a factor‑based framework (drawing on Fama‑French factors) alongside fundamental and charting analysis. The firm states a strong‑form view of market efficiency and, when appropriate, allocates portions of client portfolios to third‑party sub‑advisors that it selects and monitors through a documented due‑diligence process.

Noteworthy aspects include the combination of an ongoing fixed‑fee planning subscription with more traditional project and hourly planning options, the explicit emphasis on factor investing tied to an efficient‑market philosophy, and routine use of sub‑advisors for specialized strategies. The firm operates with a small team of principals, accepts limited custody to facilitate fee billing, and discloses no disciplinary history.

Brandon J

CFP®, EA, ChFC®

Duxbury, MA

Impact Advisors Group

If you spend any time with Brandon, you will likely hear him say, “I believe that God put me on this earth to serve business owners & entrepreneurs.” Operating under a conviction that small businesses drive our economy, he brings passion and dedication to helping people be the best version of themselves and to run their businesses at the highest possible level. Of course, he will define the term entrepreneur a little more broadly than most – choosing to include those who have employers but have the mindset of the entrepreneur (a.k.a “intrapreneur”). His experience at Deloitte as well as his time starting, managing, and selling a business in the energy sector before joining the financial services industry, makes Brandon an insider to this community and uniquely positions him to provide insight and expertise to business owners. Acknowledging that not everyone will own a business, Brandon encourages people to take ownership of whatever role they are in to create opportunities for their careers, their finances, and ultimately, their families. Brandon believes that everyone has the capacity to live a life of significance and meaning. With Brandon, family always comes first. His most important roles are as a husband to his wife, Kelly, and as a father to Jake (age 15), Anna (age 12) and Luke (age 8). Brandon, a resident of Duxbury, MA, can often be found volunteering on the baseball field or the soccer field. Brandon is very active in his congregation at New Hope Chapel (Norwell), is an avid golfer, and is a fan of the University of Georgia Bulldogs. Keep an eye out for the UGA flag flying prominently at Duxbury Beach.

Chris S

CFP®, CFA®

Dedham, MA

Impact Advisors Group

Chris grew up working alongside his father, uncles, and cousins in their family-owned manufacturing business in Michigan. This familial proximity provided Chris with a unique perspective on hard work and sacrifice, while exposing him to the challenges and opportunities that often occur with closely-held family-owned businesses. A self-professed financial theory geek, Chris has a strange need to prove out financial models for himself in an Excel spreadsheet before accepting them as gospel. This passion for knowledge started with an economics degree from Vassar College, followed by a Master’s in Economics from Cambridge University in England. Chris then went on to serve as an adjunct professor at the Brandeis Graduate School of International Economics and Finance. Chris spent much of his professional career leveraging his knowledge, experience, and insight for the betterment of large institutions. He authored several chapters in “The Handbook of Fixed Income Securities,” including one that was selected for the Chartered Financial Analyst Level III curriculum. Professionally, he has served as an institutional portfolio manager with Fidelity as well as a portfolio advisor with Wellington Management, Putnam Investments, and Zurich Scudder Investments. With Chris, our clients are receiving world class portfolio management, critical thinking, and problem-solving strategies. Through his decades of institutional investment experience, Chris has gained valuable insight that he is now bringing to his individual clients at Impact Advisors Group. In his personal life, Chris is an avid pilot. He frequently flies for Above the Clouds, a nonprofit organization that provides flight experiences for underprivileged or sick children, and for Pilot AirLift Services, a nonprofit that provides non-emergency medical transportation. When he is not airborne, his feet are firmly planted in his wine cellar collecting single malt scotch and fine wine.
