Dardanelles Capital LP serves as the investment manager for pooled vehicles, principally Dardanelles Capital U.S. Fund, LP, and may act as adviser or sub‑adviser to other private funds and separate managed accounts. The firm manages approximately $114.2 million on a discretionary basis and its investors include institutional and other permitted investors such as endowments, sovereign wealth entities, pensions, foundations and qualified high‑net‑worth investors.

The firm pursues a research‑driven long/short equity strategy with emphasis on technology and consumer sectors, seeking securities at or around operational inflection points and using both long and short positions to target asymmetric risk/reward. Dardanelles employs instruments and techniques including short sales, options, potential leverage and currency hedging, provides its positions and sizing on a delayed basis to a third‑party manager for which it receives compensation, and currently manages only accounts that pay performance‑based compensation.

Operationally, the firm’s ADV discloses relationships and infrastructure more typical of managers that trade derivatives or commodities: a prime broker relationship (Morgan Stanley) and references to futures commission merchants as qualified custodians, and the General Partner is deemed to have custody of certain Fund assets while relying on the audit exception.
