Crystal Capital Partners serves privately placed onshore and offshore limited liability companies and master-feeder pooled vehicles rather than individual retail clients. It provides nondiscretionary fund management services to those Funds, including operational due diligence, consolidated reporting, web-based analytical tools, and regular account statements; management fees are charged as a percentage of assets per the Funds’ offering documents.

The firm operates a fund‑of‑funds platform in which Portfolio Advisors (or self-directed investors) retain investment discretion while Crystal creates and manages segregated “Exposures” in the Master Funds and makes available quantitative and qualitative tools to support portfolio construction and monitoring. Crystal disclaims discretionary authority over Portfolios, will not charge performance‑based fees to the Funds, and relies on Portfolio Advisors or investors to make suitability and investment decisions.

Compared with many institutional managers, Crystal’s AUM is almost entirely non‑discretionary (about $1.296 billion as of year‑end) and the firm has taken CFTC‑related steps — withdrawing CPO registration and relying on a no‑action/exemption framework — reflecting potential indirect exposure to commodity and derivatives markets through underlying Other Funds and Managers. The Funds use an independent, PCAOB‑registered accounting firm for annual audits, custody services through a major custodian, and provide investor K‑1s and audited financial statements, while ownership of the adviser is held by family trusts.
