About

Crossroads Planning serves individual and high‑net‑worth clients as well as small businesses, providing comprehensive financial planning, ongoing portfolio management and the option to engage institutional third‑party investment managers. The firm conducts an initial interview to scope engagements, offers broad or modular planning, and provides periodic educational workshops that are described in the brochure as complimentary and educational in nature.

The firm’s investment approach is grounded in Modern Portfolio Theory with a buy‑and‑hold orientation and periodic rebalancing, typically implemented with passive, low‑cost mutual funds and ETFs while using active funds selectively when passive strategies are judged insufficient. Research and portfolio decisions also incorporate a blend of fundamental, charting/technical and cyclical analyses, and portfolios may be managed internally on a discretionary basis or through vetted third‑party managers according to client objectives and risk tolerances.

Noteworthy for a supported, two‑advisor firm with roughly $63 million in discretionary assets, Crossroads Planning offers an ongoing retainer (subscription‑style) option for planning engagements and provides tax preparation, enrolled‑agent representation and small‑business bookkeeping under separate engagement agreements — ancillary services the brochure identifies as distinct from its advisory offerings. The combination of public educational workshops, integrated tax/accounting services provided by a firm principal, and the mix of passive MPT implementation with technical/cyclical analysis distinguishes its service mix from many peers.
