Anderson Asset Management provides discretionary and non-discretionary asset management to individuals, trusts, estates, charitable organizations, corporations, and other business entities, and also serves as investment manager to Weybridge Capital Partners, L.P., a private pooled investment vehicle. Investments in the Fund are offered only to accredited and qualified investors and generally require a significant initial capital contribution.
The firm builds customized portfolios based on clients’ stated objectives and risk tolerance, using fundamental analysis and a mix of long‑ and short‑term strategies while monitoring and rebalancing accounts as conditions change. In addition to advising individual accounts, Anderson manages the Fund and applies practices that differ from many solo advisers, including the use of margin in client accounts and performance‑based compensation arrangements for the pooled vehicle.
Distinctive features relative to peers include acting as a fund sponsor/manager and providing portfolio management for a private pooled vehicle, arrangements that are uncommon for a single‑advisor independent firm. The brochure discloses two investor complaints in 2016 concerning the Fund’s performance that were settled in 2018; no formal regulatory disciplinary actions were reported.
