Alliant Capital Management provides discretionary and non-discretionary investment advisory services to a broad client mix including individuals, trusts, estates, pension and profit‑sharing plans, charitable organizations, corporations, and other business entities. The firm constructs and continuously supervises customized portfolios and offers ongoing rebalancing and account monitoring for client accounts.

The firm primarily uses fundamental analysis to build diversified portfolios that may include individual equities, exchange‑traded funds, corporate debt, no‑load mutual funds, U.S. government securities and option strategies (including covered and long options), employing both long‑ and short‑term holdings as appropriate to client goals. Portfolios are custom tailored to each client’s objectives, with the adviser authorized to implement trades on a discretionary basis and to seek client approval for non‑discretionary segments when used.

Compared with many peers, the firm also provides portfolio management to institutional entities, including banking or thrift institution clients and other plan sponsors, in addition to its individual client base. The firm’s investment team operates under written policies (including a required undergraduate degree for portfolio personnel and a CFA credential among management) and participates in an independent custodian program that yields operational benefits from the custodian.
