About

OSP serves only pooled, privately offered investment vehicles and does not serve individual retail clients; its funds are organized as lock-up private funds offered to accredited investors and qualified purchasers and are operated by affiliated general partners. The firm acts as manager to its “Value Funds,” which pursue a value bias in out-of-favor assets and are exempt from registration under the Investment Company Act.

OSP’s investment approach emphasizes credit-intensive, fundamental value investing in commercial and industrial credits, small- and medium-sized enterprises, and commercial real estate credits, typically at senior-secured levels but occasionally in subordinated or equity positions. Investment decisions follow detailed approval materials (investment approval sheets, scenario pricing, cash-flow models, and sign-offs by the lead investment manager and CIO) and risk oversight including a Risk Committee sign-off for exceptions; as of December 31, 2025 OSP reported $1,427,581,972 in discretionary regulatory assets under management (and $1,450,883,960 including its proprietary book).

What is distinctive about OSP compared with many peers is its set of affiliated businesses: it is under common control with American Deposit Management, LLC (a registered municipal advisor and treasury/cash management firm), OSP Insurance, LLC (a licensed captive insurance company), AmeriNat (a loan servicing and asset management firm), and a community bank affiliate. Those affiliated companies currently provide services to the Funds and create potential conflicts of interest that OSP discloses and seeks to mitigate through monitoring, periodic audits, advisory committee consultation, and application of its allocation and conflicts procedures.
