Eric Schwartz is a Private Wealth Advisor with Merrill Private Wealth Management, where he is a member of the Private Execute Services group. In this role, he concentrates on fixed-income strategies and is responsible for the team's fixed-income trading and manager selection. Eric began his career at Merrill in 2000, bringing prior experience from Southern Company, where he traded electricity and natural gas futures and options, and from Rodman & Renshaw, where he served as an assistant fixed-income trader. Eric holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, earned in 1993, and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University, completed in 1997. He also holds the designation of Personal Investment Advisor (PIA). Residing in Glen Rock, New Jersey, Eric is actively involved in his community through coaching youth sports and participating in his synagogue. His personal interests include basketball, cooking, reading, music, tennis, and spending time with his family.
