Paradox Financial LLC

As a second-generation American, I feel a strong drive to repay my parents for the sacrifices they made to give my brother and I the opportunities they never had. Seeing how hard my parents worked to provide for our family, I became fascinated with all things personal finance at an early age. I named my firm “Paradox” because, despite the fact that financial health is one of the most important things in life, financial education is almost entirely neglected! My passion and curiosity led me to pursue and receive a Bachelor’s in Finance from the University of Florida. From there, I embarked on a nearly decade-long journey as a traditional financial advisor. Along with an amazing team of individuals at Merrill, I worked hard to act in my client’s best interest every step of the way, yet I knew I couldn’t offer my most advanced solutions. The traditional fee-only assets-under-management model of financial advising just didn’t allow for the in-depth, no-stone-left-unturned approach I was looking for. All of that changed when I discovered the model of the advice-only financial advisor, which puts financial planning front and center for a flat fee. My goal is to educate and empower you to achieve your goals, not to manage as many of your assets as possible. This way, you can rest assured that I am incentivized to do what I believe will work best for you, not what will earn me the most fees. We’ll go over everything that contributes to your unique financial picture (that includes things like early retirement strategies, real estate, and familial obligations, to name a few). Along the way, I’ll teach you as much as you want to learn so that you can make informed decisions for yourself moving forward. Financial planning has been my life’s passion, and I’m so grateful to serve my clients. As a fiduciary and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, I am committed to creating holistic, sophisticated plans for my clients so they can become financially independent.

Real Life Planning

I joined Real Life Planning to mentor a new generation of real estate investors. We help real estate investors take practical steps to build financial freedom, create multiple sources of income, and make working for someone else optional. At Real Life Planning, we speak both real estate and financial planning. Whether you're adding to your properties, contemplating a 1031 exchange, listing your place on Airbnb, getting started as a landlord, or looking to buy a home overseas, we'll help you create a realistic plan for your financial life goals. As you build your investment property portfolio, we will help you plan to optimize taxes and diversify risks, manage total cash flow, and prepare for new opportunities. Our clients are - Rental property investors looking for a comprehensive financial plan - Professionals considering a real estate side hustle to create an additional source of income - People with inherited rental property - Homeowners maximizing opportunities for income - Americans looking to buy property overseas - Expats buying homes in the U.S. We're a Fee-Only fiduciary firm, so we work for you, not for Wall Street. That's why our fees are inclusive and transparent. My husband, Brian, and I live in Orlando, FL with our two young boys. I grew up watching my parents balance a W2 job, with steady income, a commission role, and managing a portfolio of real estate that included single family homes, multi-unit properties and an apartment complex. From that, I absorbed a mindset that there was more than one way to provide for yourself. That you could manage yourself and your time and that the idea of having multiple streams of income is a feasible strategy. A year after graduating from college, I purchased my first home, lived in one room and rented out another one of the rooms. From there the journey to create multiple sources of income began. Now, as the parents of 2 young boys, my husband, Brian, and I are trying to demonstrate the same entrepreneurial spirit to our boys as we manage our rental property and our peer-to-peer car sharing business. We are enjoying the journey and our experiences flow over into my work with clients as their financial coach and business coach. I have worked 17 years in the financial services industry. Real Life Planning works with clients virtually from anywhere. Interested in the real (estate) life? Book a discovery call today.

I like to keep things simple, focus on what we can control and continuously strive to deliver better than expected outcomes. I seek first to understand, then work together with a client to craft plans, put those plans into action and review them regularly. Am I perfect? By no means. Yet, I will continue to try my very best for the clients I serve. Clients usually come to me needing help answering questions on their mind. Some of the top questions are: • Am I on track? • Am I doing the right things? • Am I missing anything? I have spent 10 + years helping address these questions and more. While working with a diverse mix of clients over the years, I have spent a considerable amount of time helping these types of clients: • Near retirees looking to retire before 65 • Disney executives and cast members • Academics that work for the State of Florida system In addition to on-the-job experience, I am a firm believer in continuous learning. As such, my undergrad is in Physics, my Master’s degree is in Personal Financial Planning, I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional, a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ and consume hours of continuing education each year. Personally, I am a Christian, a husband, a dad and have two dogs. I enjoy reading, playing acoustic guitar, hiking, Gator sports, Disney theme parks, playing pickup basketball and serving wherever I am needed at church.

Ready to retire with confidence? I'm Keith Hensley, a CFP® professional and fiduciary financial advisor helping near-retirees and retirees in Orlando, Florida navigate one of life's biggest transitions. Whether you're approaching retirement or already there, I provide flat-fee financial planning that's completely transparent and conflict-free. Here's how I'm different. My firm is fee-only and advice-only. That means I don't sell products, earn commissions, or have hidden agendas. You pay a flat fee for comprehensive financial planning, and I work for you. Period. Our focus is on your most pressing questions... - When can I retire? - How much can I safely withdraw each year? - How do I turn my savings into a paycheck? - When should I apply for Social Security? - How do I minimize taxes in retirement? - Will I run out of money? Who do I work with? Primarily near-retirees and retirees in the Orlando area who want a trusted partner to help them make smart decisions about retirement income, Social Security timing, tax planning, and investment strategies. I also work with younger professionals who are serious about building wealth. What should you expect? I'm naturally laid back and genuinely interested in your story. This isn't about pushing products or rushing through meetings. It's about understanding your goals, addressing your concerns, and building a financial plan that works for your life. As a fiduciary, I'm legally required to put your interests first. But beyond the legal requirement, that's just how I believe financial planning should work. Why do Orlando families trust Florida Financial Planning? You're working with a local CFP® professional who understands the Orlando market and serves families in this community.
