Patuxent Financial Partners, LLC
Hi, I’m Matt. My job as a financial planner is to make your life simpler. To help you efficiently and effectively narrow down your options, so you can make the right decisions. And be confident in those decisions for the long-term. Financial planning and investment management are often muddied by unnecessary complexity (usually in an effort to sell you something). It doesn’t need to be this way. I began my career in the financial services industry in 2003 as an analyst with the due diligence law firm Snyder Kearney, LLC (Columbia, MD). At Snyder Kearney, I reviewed public and private securities offerings and evaluated national securities sponsoring companies, focusing on real estate investments and non-traditional investment products. It was there that I realized that I wanted to know more about the practice of law and a lot more about the pretty co-worker in the cubicle next to me, Sylvie. I earned my law degree in 2007 from the University of Baltimore School of Law and married Sylvie in 2008; further proof that education and personal relationships are the investments that produce the best returns. After law school, I practiced law with the firm David Albert & Associates, LLC (Bethesda, MD), focusing in estate planning and administration, guardianship administration, taxation of estates and trusts, and business formations. There, I recognized that helping clients through complicated and often stressful issues was intellectually stimulating and emotionally fulfilling. In 2010, I opened Patuxent Financial Partners, LLC, registered as an Investment Adviser with the State of Maryland in 2017. Here, I leverage my legal background to provide clients with value-added insight in the overlapping areas of estate and financial planning. More importantly, as a personal financial planner and small business owner, I can build lasting relationships with clients and their families; these connections make my work fulfilling, because client success becomes intertwined with my own. I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and hold the FINRA Series 65 securities registration. Raised in Columbia, Maryland, I graduated from McDaniel College with a bachelor's degree in English. Outside of the office, I enjoy running, reading, and hiking with my wife, son, and our mutt hound, Kodi.

Primas Financial Planning
Hi, I’m Liz and I’m a fee-only financial planner. I started Primas Financial Planning to help individuals make financial decisions they feel good about and be confident that those choices will prepare them for the future. As the first in my family to graduate from college, I had to navigate a lot of firsts out of necessity, not choice. Like most of my clients, I didn’t learn about personal finance in school, and I’ve had to make decisions based on the information that was available to me. I’ve been fortunate to have accumulated knowledge through various sources. Some of my financial planning knowledge comes from school and work but a lot of lessons were learned from friends, family, my military community, and by making many, many mistakes. I recognize that not everyone is fortunate enough to have this wealth of knowledge at their fingertips and my goal with Primas FP is to help others have the same financial security and peace of mind. I’m a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Chartered Financial Consultant, Accredited Financial Counselor and Enrolled Agent. I’ve been working with clients for over 16 years helping them achieve their goals and build their wealth. First and foremost, I’m a fiduciary which means I’ll always put your interests first. I’ve lived in 9 states and 4 countries and I’ll be joining you virtually from Maryland, but I work with clients all over the United States. When I’m not listening to financial planning podcasts and delighting my husband and daughters with tax lectures, you can find me hiking, kickboxing, trying not kill the plants in my garden and volunteering in my community. I'm looking forward to hearing your life's story. Let's meet!

Lifetime Financial
We created Lifetime Financial to serve the professional households working for the greater good. Our clients are unintentional millionaires. It might be surprising to think of yourself as a millionaire, but when you add up the equity in your home, a lifetime of saving, high market returns, and inflation—it quickly adds up. Though modestly affluent households like yours don’t have the resources of the ultra-wealthy, you still have much of the same complexity and the need for regular guidance. Typically, these households hold an average of $1.5 million in liquid assets and are often underserved by the financial community. Eighty percent of high-net-worth and mega-millionaires work with financial advisors to plan and manage their finances, but only 60% of unintentional millionaires do. We provide extensive, full-service financial planning and investment management with great services and ongoing support at a reasonable price. We are independent fiduciaries and keep our fees low, well below Wall Street rates, while providing services they don’t offer. An important distinction is that we are a Fee-Only firm, which is often confused with Fee-Based which is more common in larger firms. In contrast to Fee-Only, Fee-Based advisors receive commissions on products they sell you. We are only paid by you. Our typical clients are nonprofit professionals and those working for the greater good who want expert financial help with retirement, college planning, investing, tax planning, and more. Together we will connect the dots between your financial realities and the life you long to live.
