David Olson

Steven Lindquist is a Wealth Management Advisor with the Lindquist Group at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. He focuses on building disciplined structures and strategies tailored to the financial goals of individuals, families, and corporate clients. Steven’s expertise includes college and education planning, executive and equity compensation, family wealth management, legacy planning, retirement planning, and portfolio management. For corporate clients, he offers fiduciary services for retirement benefits, assists with private company sales, and supports companies entering the public market. Steven joined Merrill in 2011 after graduating with honors from Augustana University in Sioux Falls, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Philosophy with a minor in Classics. He holds several professional designations, including CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP), Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA), Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC), Personal Investment Advisor (PIA), and Retirement Accredited Financial Advisor (RAFA). Outside of his professional work, Steven is involved in his local community through the Sioux Falls Family YMCA and its board of directors, as well as the Leif Ericson Day Camp, where he was both a camper and counselor in his youth. He resides in Sioux Falls with his wife, Nicholle, and their three children. In his free time, Steven enjoys golfing, hunting, cooking, hiking, reading, singing, and traveling.
