Hi, I’m Robert Lindstrom, founder of Provision Financial Planning (PFP). My own unique journey has culminated in PFP. Just like it is important for me to understand my clients’ past experience as it relates to money, it’s important that you know my history in this field. I became interested in investing and personal finance at a young age. I was going to do something related to finance but I began my career in 2010 on the heels of the Great Recession. I felt fortunate to find any job, much less one in “financial services”. What a blessing this turned out to be. Beginning my career in “wealth management” planted the seed. It was here where I was encouraged to obtain the CFP designation. This really opened my eyes to the importance of financial planning instead of just investment management. The CFP® designation covers dozens of areas of financial expertise is recognized as the standard of excellence for the financial planning profession. Pursuing this desire to do more than investments, I ended up taking a position that would allow me to do financial planning. However, this position was primarily a commission-driven sales role. While I learned a lot, this was not a good fit for me. It wasn’t all bad. I now have a much better understanding of how various products work (and don’t work) and the sales-driven financial piece of my industry that is unfortunately so prevalent. It was my next role where things really started to take shape. I ended up working at a Fee-Only firm that had deep tax expertise. I immediately felt at home in this fee-only compensation model because I could focus on planning instead of selling. Being a Fee-Only advisor means I don’t sell any financial products for a commission or receive other revenue sharing. This means I’m only compensated directly by my clients, which eliminates many of the conflicts so prevalent in my industry. I’ve also been exposed to several different investment philosophies in my career. A lot of industry experts claim to be able to time the market or identify the next hot sector or stock, either themselves or by picking active funds that try to. The data shows this is unlikely, and even risks large underperformance. While it may sound counterintuitive at first, you’re paying us to prudently manage a portfolio for you instead of seeking to outperform by timing the market. This brief history has culminated in me founding Provision Financial Planning in 2019 as a proud fee-only firm.

Max Hyatt is a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. In his role, he focuses on building personalized financial strategies by understanding what matters most to his clients and providing ongoing guidance across investing, retirement planning, and managing unexpected financial events. He offers resources and access to specialists in banking, credit, home financing, and small business solutions to support a comprehensive approach to wealth management. Max's expertise includes college education planning, employee benefits planning, executive compensation, family wealth management strategies, legacy planning, liquidity management, managing new wealth, personal retirement planning, portfolio management services, and tax minimization. He emphasizes a client-centered approach by taking the time to understand individual goals, concerns, and questions to develop strategies that align with clients' short-, mid-, and long-term financial objectives. He holds a Bachelor's Degree from Pennsylvania State University and is a Personal Investment Advisor (PIA). Outside of his professional work, Max enjoys boating, football, golfing, music, pickleball, skiing, spending time with his family, tennis, traveling, and watching movies.

Matthew Gue is a Vice President and Financial Consultant at Fidelity, a role he has held since 2025. He partners with clients to understand their unique short and long-term goals and helps build customized financial plans. His approach emphasizes forming strong relationships and delivering a high level of trust and reliability. Matthew has extensive experience in the financial services industry, having worked with Fidelity Investments since 2021. Prior to that, he held several positions at T. Rowe Price from 2013 to 2021, including Financial Consultant, Manager, Investment Specialist, Specialist, and In-Plan Representative. This experience has provided him with a broad understanding of financial consulting and investment management.

Marcus Grubb is a Wealth Management Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. He has been a Financial Advisor since 2001 and brings extensive experience in helping clients pursue a wide range of financial objectives, including college education planning, family wealth management strategies, liquidity management, retirement planning, philanthropic planning, tax minimization, and portfolio management services. Marcus graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 1998 with a degree in Economics. He holds multiple professional designations, including CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP), Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor® (CPFA), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC), Personal Investment Advisor (PIA), and Retirement Accredited Financial Advisor (RAFA). Marcus is also a qualified Portfolio Manager able to build and manage personalized or defined investment strategies on a discretionary basis. A lifelong resident of Harford County, Maryland, Marcus grew up in Havre De Grace and currently lives in Fallston with his wife Kysa and son Noah. He is involved in community activities, including past participation in the local Lion’s Club. In his personal time, Marcus enjoys cooking, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family.

Michelle Sin is a Wealth Management Advisor at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. She specializes in family wealth management strategies, managing new wealth, personal retirement planning, portfolio management services, small business strategies, women and wealth, and retirement income. Michelle's approach focuses on connecting all aspects of her clients' financial lives to help prioritize and pursue their most important goals. Michelle graduated from Towson University in 1995 with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, concentrating in Finance. She began her career at Morgan Stanley, where she worked for 10 years, followed by three years at Ferris Baker Watts before joining Merrill Lynch with her team. She holds the professional designations of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP) and Personal Investment Advisor (PIA). Michelle resides in Bel Air with her husband and three sons. She is active in the Korean-American community and volunteers at her sons' schools. Her community involvement includes participation with the Bel Air Chem Free Association, Bel Air High School, Bel Air Rec Council, FOBAS, and Harford Technical High School. In her free time, Michelle enjoys cooking, music, reading, tennis, traveling, yoga, and spending time with her family.
