Gregory Gibson is a Wealth Management Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in Greensboro, where he has been serving clients since August 2016. He specializes in managing new wealth, philanthropic planning, portfolio management services, tax minimization, retirement income, and working with women and wealth. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Greg held positions as an Executive Director at Oppenheimer & Co, Inc. and First Vice President at UBS, bringing with him three decades of experience in the financial services industry. Greg earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Emory University in 1981. He holds professional designations as a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) and Personal Investment Advisor (PIA). Throughout his career, Greg has engaged with the community through service on the Board of Directors for the Eastern Music Festival and Guilford Battleground Company, as well as participation on the Finance and Investment Committee at Canterbury School. He has also contributed as a mentor for Boy Scout Troop 216 and served on the Adult Staff team for Westover Church High School Ministries. Outside of his professional pursuits, Greg enjoys spending time with his wife, their two grown children, and two granddaughters. His personal interests include boating, cooking, fishing, golfing, interior decorating, reading, and traveling. The family often spends their leisure time at Wrightsville Beach, where Greg also pursues offshore angling.
