Ilya Dayter

Ilya Dayter is a Senior Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He provides wealth management services to a diverse clientele, including business owners, entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and individual investors across the country. Ilya’s practice emphasizes a comprehensive approach, working closely with clients and their professional advisors to integrate areas such as employee benefits, trust and wealth transfer planning, and exit strategies.

Prior to his financial services career, Ilya served in the United States Air Force, participating in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom, and held roles involving coalition coordination and infrastructure development partnerships. He holds multiple professional designations, including Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS), Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA), Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA), Personal Investment Advisor (PIA), and Retirement Accredited Financial Advisor (RAFA). Ilya earned a bachelor’s degree from Chapman University and is fluent in English and Russian.

Beyond his professional role, Ilya is involved in several community and veteran organizations. He serves on the Village of Howard Police and Fire Commission and has been active with the Bank of America Military Support & Assistance Group, the Northeast Wisconsin Veterans Alliance, Freedom House, and the Howard Suamico Business Professional Association, where he previously served as president. He resides in Green Bay with his family and enjoys activities such as traveling, gardening, golf, tennis, scuba diving, skiing, and spending time with his family.
