Hi, I'm Dave Rowan. As the President and Founder of Rowan Financial, my primary responsibility is to provide my clients with the tools and encouragement they need to achieve their most important goals. With over 16 years of experience in the financial services industry, I specialize in assisting real estate investors, pre-retirees and new families in growing their wealth, and bettering their own lives along with the lives of their family and community. Before founding Rowan Financial in 2011, I spent 24 years at Crayola, where I most recently served as the Director of Research & Development. Over the course of my career, I have obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation and the Series 65 Advisor Law Certification. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Penn State, obtained in 1992, and an MBA from Lehigh University, earned in 2000. I am also a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Planners (NAPFA) and the XY Planning Network, which affords me the opportunity to participate in multiple masterminds and study groups to learn from others and continue to enhance my skills as an advisor. I get to know each of my clients personally and understand what really matters to them beyond the numbers on their account statements. Should we work together, you will know what is possible for you in your life, and you will receive a prioritized Financial Action Plan along with the encouragement you need. I am especially passionate about helping people navigate big transitions in their lives, whether that be leaving your corporate job for full time entrepreneurship, buying your first investment property or starting a new family. I have personal experience in each of these areas and bring that technical expertise to bear should we work together. I also recognize that, like me, you’re a human being dealing with all of the emotions and concerns that these changes can bring up. When we talk about your finances, we’ll always talk about the “math” as well as the “quality of life” implications of each decision and make the call that’s best for you and those you love. When I'm not helping clients, I enjoy hiking, pickleball, trying to show up for all of my appointments with my trainer at the gym, traveling with my adult children and family, having deep conversations with my wife Stacy, and engaging in personal development to better understand myself and better serve others.

My goal is to simplify your investments and personal finances and take over the burden of the daily management of those investments so that you have more control over that aspect of life. 3. Appropriate products and strategies. I help you choose the right investments and strategies (along with your other Advisors) that match your volatility (risk) tolerance and your unique situation. As a fee only Advisor I do not receive any commission from the sale of any individual product. I recommend what is in YOUR best interests. 4. Help in planning or maintaining a secure retirement and getting their financial house in order. 5. Helping you avoid mistakes. Many investors lose money because they invest at the peak and pull their money out in the troughs. I will act as your guide. A professional that you can call and talk to before making a decision.

Thomas Newell is a Wealth Management Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. He partners with individuals and small businesses to develop personalized financial strategies that align with clients’ goals and market conditions. Thomas provides guidance on a variety of financial needs, including retirement planning, portfolio management, college education planning, divorce transition planning, and individual and corporate investment strategies. With expertise in designing and implementing retirement plans tailored to business cultures and helping individuals achieve their personal financial objectives, Thomas emphasizes simplifying investing for his clients. He holds a Master’s degree from Villanova University and a Bachelor’s degree from the Pennsylvania State University System. Thomas carries the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), CERTIFIED PLAN FIDUCIARY ADVISOR (CPFA), Personal Investment Advisor (PIA), and Retirement Accredited Financial Advisor (RAFA) professional designations. Originally from Philadelphia, Thomas is the youngest of seven siblings. He values listening, loyalty, respect, and courtesy in his professional and personal life. He resides in the Lehigh Valley with his wife and two children. Outside of work, Thomas enjoys boating, football, golfing, spending time with family, and watching movies.

Joe Dancho is a Financial Consultant currently working at Fidelity Investments since 2023. He supports clients with overall financial and retirement planning, aiming to create personalized plans aligned with their financial goals. He has experience as an Investment Consultant at Fidelity Investments from 2022 to 2023, and previously served as a Retirement Education Counselor at Prudential Financial from 2015 to 2022. Prior to that, he held positions at T. Rowe Price including Senior Retirement and Investment Counselor from 2013 to 2015 and Retirement and Investment Counselor from 2011 to 2013. Joe's personal interests include family activities, football, and volunteering.

Alfred Douglass is a Wealth Management Advisor with extensive experience in financial services, having begun his career in 1987 as a trust officer. He joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management’s internal wealth planning department before co-founding The Douglass Group in Allentown in 1995. His practice focuses on wealth management and retirement planning strategies, including investment management and estate planning services. He holds multiple professional designations, including Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA), Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA), Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA), Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS), Personal Investment Advisor (PIA), and Retirement Benefits Consultant (RBC). Alfred earned his bachelor’s degree from Lafayette College and holds a high school diploma from The Hill School. In addition to his professional work, Alfred is involved in community organizations such as the Wildlands Conservancy, where he serves as a board member, and supports the Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network. He is also a Level 3 Certified instructor with the Professional Ski Instructors of America.
