Gregory Mead

Jason is the founder of Front Street Wealth Management, serving individuals and families as a fee-only wealth manager in the Traverse City area for over two decades, and is also the founder of the Money Series, a nonprofit committed to providing open access to financial education, for all. Before becoming a fee-only investment adviser and financial planner, Jason practiced as an actuary specializing in investment and liability risk management for Allianz Life Insurance Company and ReliaStar Investment Research, both located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He later applied his actuarial background to serve clients as a wealth manager in Northern Michigan. Jason graduated from Michigan State University in 1994 with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. In 1999, Jason became an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA, ’99-’04). Currently, he is both a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) certificant. Jason is a member of the CFA Institute, CFP Board and NAPFA.

Patrick Kolody is a Wealth Management Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. Since beginning his career with Merrill in 1996, he has accumulated over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Patrick is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certificant and holds the Personal Investment Advisor (PIA) designation. He works with high net worth individuals to define and implement their long-term financial goals, with expertise in areas including college education planning, family wealth management strategies, legacy planning, retirement income, and tax minimization. Patrick earned a bachelor's degree from Grand Valley State University. He resides in Traverse City, Michigan, with his wife Joelle and their sons Sean and Parker. Committed to community involvement, Patrick serves on the board of Traverse City’s At Risk boxing club, which supports disadvantaged youth, and participates in the Traverse City RipTide Youth Mentoring program. His personal interests include basketball, boating, golfing, reading, and spending time with his family.

Karin Ulrich Engel is a Wealth Management Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. She brings over 30 years of financial experience, including 16 years with Merrill Lynch, and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation as well as the Personal Investment Advisor (PIA) credential. Karin's practice focuses on helping clients navigate significant life transitions such as retirement, career changes, loss of a loved one, and legacy planning. Karin earned her Bachelor's degree from North Central College and a Master's degree from the University of Phoenix. Prior to her current role, she gained experience in the insurance and banking industries and taught personal finance classes. Her expertise includes personal retirement planning, portfolio management, and advising women on wealth matters. Outside of her professional work, Karin is involved with the Northern Illinois Food Bank and has contributed her skills by sewing clothing for community programs and supporting youth through teaching sewing to Girl Scout troops. Her personal interests include cooking, gardening, knitting, crocheting, photography, reading, sewing, and traveling.

Roxanne Hunter is a Senior Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. She joined the Kulhavi Team in 2013, bringing with her extensive experience from a prior career as Vice President and CFO of a national engineering firm. Roxanne focuses on managing new wealth, personal retirement planning, portfolio management services, small business strategies, women and wealth, and retirement income. Roxanne earned her bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University. Based in Cadillac since 1986, Roxanne lives with her husband, Scott, where they raised their three children. Angela J. Crosher is a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management based in Traverse City, Michigan.
