Every piece of advice that I offer my clients is based on my own journey along this path. I have owned, operated and exited a successful business. I’ve sat across the table from CPAs and attorneys to craft my own financial and estate plan. My wife and I have ensured our children’s needs will be met if anything happens to us. I have a deep understanding of financial markets that comes from managing my own investments including private offerings. Most financial advisors have strong educational backgrounds and significant experience advising clients, but they have not personally experienced the situations through which they are guiding their HNW clients.

John McConnell is a Senior Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, serving as a key member of the Boskus Group in Rogers, Arkansas. He specializes in portfolio construction and structured products, focusing on cultivating strong client relationships and delivering personalized wealth management strategies tailored to individual goals. John’s approach emphasizes a comprehensive understanding of each client’s financial picture to create flexible strategies adaptable to changing market conditions. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the University of Arkansas and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Arkansas Little Rock. John is also a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) and Personal Investment Advisor (PIA). Prior to his advisory career, he was team captain of the Razorback tennis team during his final two years of college and played tennis professionally for several years. John actively participates in community service, reflecting the Merrill tradition of engagement. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, tennis, and spending time with his family.

Marjorie Richesin is a Wealth Management Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, bringing extensive experience in financial services dating back to 1988. She began her career as a Corporate Bond Trader and liaison to Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Advisors, and later specialized in Middle Market Taxable Fixed Income at Lehman Brothers and Barclays. Since 2014, she has served as a Financial Advisor, focusing on personal planning and wealth management strategies to assist clients in achieving their financial goals. Marjorie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the State University of New York system. She has earned professional designations including the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification and the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®) designation, qualifications that enhance her ability to support clients with matters such as divorce transition planning, college education planning, tax minimization, and retirement income strategies. She is also a member of the Vistage professional organization. In addition to her professional responsibilities, Marjorie actively participates in community service as a board member of the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, a no-kill shelter dedicated to animal welfare. She enjoys spending time with her family, engaging in physical fitness, golfing, and other personal interests.
