I am a millennial myself with over a decade of experience helping retirees with personal finances. That combination of youth and experience gives me an advantage over many of the advisors out there. My youth, to retirees, means I am likely to be around for the entirety of your retirement. All those plans you made with your advisor, will be executed by the advisor that helped you plan them. If that includes an inheritance, good news because I want to work with your heirs too! To a younger generation, you get an advisor you can relate to who doesn’t treat your problems as less significant because you don’t have the same level of assets. Just because I’m young, doesn’t mean I’m green! I was previously the Practicing Partner of a wealth management firm focused solely on retirees. As the lead portfolio manager, I oversaw almost $500 million in client portfolios. That experience means I’ve guided and advised clients through every stage of a successful retirement. It also means I know what a successful retirement looks like. As I’ve always said, best laid plans begin with the end in mind, so my experience serves just as well early in your journey to financial independence. I started my own firm because I saw an increasing need to reconnect families and their finances. Grandparents are providing child care, children are providing elderly care, and everyone is chipping in to pay for education. As much as ever families need each other, and our program is specifically designed to be prepared when they do.

Aaron Parrish, CFP®, TPCP®, is a Greensboro, NC fee-only financial planner. He created Level Wealth Management (LWM) to present a new option to investors transitioning into and through retirement. Historically, investors have had to do it themselves, work with a commission broker or work with an advisor that charges a percentage of their investments. LWM helps clients build intelligent portfolios, map out retirement and reduce taxes for one flat retainer fee that isn’t based on account size. This fee structure reduces conflicts of interest and allows clients to potentially keep more of their investment returns. LWM meets physically with clients in Greensboro, Charlotte, and Raleigh as well as virtually for out of state clients. Aaron graduated from Appalachian State University and was recruited by BB&T’s Private Banking Division to join their Financial Planning Analyst team. There, he gained valuable experience and created financial plans for hundreds of clients. He later became a Vice President and Senior Financial Advisor at Triad Financial Advisors before starting Level Wealth Management. He has also taught retirement planning courses at colleges and universities across Central North Carolina. When not working, Aaron’s favorite way to invest his time and money is traveling with his wife Martha and their two young children, Bradford and Dottie or paying people to do tasks he hates, like mowing the lawn. He also enjoys teaming up with his son Bradford to be an “animal saver” and mountain biking.

Mariah Nadolny is a Planning Consultant at Fidelity Investments, a position she has held since 2023. In this role, she consults with clients to analyze risks, educate them, and prepare them for important financial decisions. Prior to this, she worked as a Relationship Manager at Fidelity Investments from 2022 to 2023, and as a Paraplanner at Ameriprise Financial from 2021 to 2022. She also gained experience as a Tax Intern at Advisors Management Group, Inc. in 2019. Mariah's professional experience spans multiple roles within the financial services industry, focusing on client consultation, relationship management, and financial planning support. Outside of her professional career, she enjoys spending time on family activities, fitness, football, social events with friends, outdoor adventures, and traveling.
