Being the son of a CPA, I have always had a keen interest in finance. Along with my other two siblings, I spent a few tax seasons in my father’s office helping where I could and learning the basics of the tax universe. After my time at Virginia Tech, I spent 5 years in Northern Virginia in the hospitality industry, from country clubs to selling wine (fun!!). After the arrival of my first daughter, my wife, Emily, and I returned to our roots in Richmond. I joined his father at his firm in 2018 and made quick work of learning the financial planning world. My goal is to take the questions and stress out of my clients' financial situation, so they can live the life they’ve always wanted. I believe that everyone should have access to a financial planner, whether they have substantial assets, or are just starting to save. You’ve got questions, the Hussmen have the answers!

I’m Taylor Jessee, founder of Impact Financial. Thanks for stopping by. You’d probably like to know a little bit more about me. Don’t worry. I won’t bore you with the basics you can easily find on LinkedIn or Facebook. After earning my CPA and CFP® certifications, and working for other financial advisory firms (of all sizes…big, medium, and small) for nearly a decade, I founded Impact Financial in 2022. Why, you ask? Don’t get me wrong; I learned a ton, worked with a lot of great people, and discovered my life’s calling. But in the back of my mind it felt like something was missing. I grew tired of the corporate grind. Tired of the endless pursuit of ‘more’ - more money, more prestige, more market share - when all I really wanted more of was life. So, with a wife and three young kids, I took a giant leap of faith to build Impact Financial. To build a company that views the financial advising profession as helping lifting a weight off someone’s shoulders so they can live out their own calling. To build a company that maintains high professional standards, while remaining down-to-earth and welcoming. Hi, I’m Lauren Zangardi Haynes, CFP®, CIMA® and founder of Spark Financial Advisors. At Spark Financial Advisors we are focused on helping high earning women, dual-career couples & business owners put an effective strategy in place to build wealth, manage taxes, and spend more time doing what they love. Our clients gain peace of mind knowing their finances are outsourced to a highly qualified team with expertise in building wealth and transitioning into retirement. I got my start in the financial services industry in 2005 with Bank of America. While working for U.S. Trust Bank of America Private Wealth Management I attained my CFP® designation and became a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®). I transitioned to a smaller Fee-Only financial planning firm to get broader experience beyond investment management and haven’t looked back. I have been quoted in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Forbes, USA Today, U.S. News and World Report among others, and have written for Richmond Family Magazine. I previously served on the South Region Board for the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) the leading organization for fiduciary, Fee-Only financial planners. Matt Philips is a Financial Consultant at Fidelity Investments, where he has been since 2021. He assists clients and their families in growing and protecting their wealth, making sound investment decisions, and simplifying their financial lives. His approach includes building financial plans, identifying opportunities for improvement, and maintaining open communication. Matt has extensive experience within Fidelity Investments, having held various roles since 2006. His positions have included Planning Consultant, Senior Relationship Manager, and roles in the Investments Help Desk, Fixed Income Desk, and as an Investments Representative. This breadth of experience has contributed to his expertise in financial planning and investment management. Outside of his professional work, Matt is interested in traveling, volunteering, and writing.
