Hi, I’m Jeremy Eppley, a fee-only financial planner and investment manager based in Maryland, serving clients virtually across the country. I specialize in helping individuals who have recently received an inheritance use their newfound wealth effectively, as well as helping families who are interested in leaving money to loved ones or charities tax-efficiently. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Towson University, I continued my education, earning a Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning. Beyond my formal education, I went on to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, a CERTIFIED PRIVATE WEALTH ADVISOR™ professional, and additionally earned my AIF®, APMA®, CRPC®, and MPAS® designations. We serve young professionals (Gen Z, Gen Y/Millenials, and Gen X), young families, married couples, entrepreneurs, self-employed individuals, ultra high net-worth families, trusts, intergenerational families, baby boomers, entertainment industry professionals, startup founders, business owners, and small businesses. Mike focuses his energy into helping clients navigate all of their financial needs. His experience includes a stint on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange, a career focused on investments at Brown Advisory and insurance at Securian Financial. During these experiences, he learned that a balanced approach and strategic financial planning is what can help clients achieve their goals. When not talking to clients or researching the next great opportunity for them, Mike & his wife enjoy quiet city living and relaxing whenever their new daughter allows. He loves playing soccer, lacrosse, golf, basketball… and really any sport. When he’s not meeting friends or family at the movies or the local watering hole, you can normally find him reading something very nerdy, like science fiction or financial science.

Hi, I’m Robert Lindstrom, founder of Provision Financial Planning (PFP). My own unique journey has culminated in PFP. Just like it is important for me to understand my clients’ past experience as it relates to money, it’s important that you know my history in this field. I became interested in investing and personal finance at a young age. I was going to do something related to finance but I began my career in 2010 on the heels of the Great Recession. I felt fortunate to find any job, much less one in “financial services”. What a blessing this turned out to be. Beginning my career in “wealth management” planted the seed. It was here where I was encouraged to obtain the CFP designation. This really opened my eyes to the importance of financial planning instead of just investment management. The CFP® designation covers dozens of areas of financial expertise is recognized as the standard of excellence for the financial planning profession. Pursuing this desire to do more than investments, I ended up taking a position that would allow me to do financial planning. However, this position was primarily a commission-driven sales role. While I learned a lot, this was not a good fit for me. It wasn’t all bad. I now have a much better understanding of how various products work (and don’t work) and the sales-driven financial piece of my industry that is unfortunately so prevalent. It was my next role where things really started to take shape. I ended up working at a Fee-Only firm that had deep tax expertise. I immediately felt at home in this fee-only compensation model because I could focus on planning instead of selling. Being a Fee-Only advisor means I don’t sell any financial products for a commission or receive other revenue sharing. This means I’m only compensated directly by my clients, which eliminates many of the conflicts so prevalent in my industry. I’ve also been exposed to several different investment philosophies in my career. A lot of industry experts claim to be able to time the market or identify the next hot sector or stock, either themselves or by picking active funds that try to. The data shows this is unlikely, and even risks large underperformance. While it may sound counterintuitive at first, you’re paying us to prudently manage a portfolio for you instead of seeking to outperform by timing the market. This brief history has culminated in me founding Provision Financial Planning in 2019 as a proud fee-only firm.

David Frank is a Wealth Management Advisor at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. He is part of the Frank, Finney, Mohler & Browne Group, a team serving families and institutional clients with tailored financial strategies. David's role focuses on portfolio management, wealth planning, and client development. With over 25 years in the financial services industry, David joined Merrill in 2013 after working at Legg Mason, Deutsche Bank, and Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. He holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP) certification and the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) designation. Additionally, he has earned the Personal Investment Advisor (PIA) and Retirement Benefits Consultant (RBC) credentials. David graduated from Mt. Saint Mary’s University in 1997 and earned an MBA from Loyola University in 2001. He lives in Ruxton with his wife Emmie, their children, Connor and Abby, and their dog, Gus. David's personal interests include cooking, golfing, skiing, and spending time with his family.

Joseph Browning is a Financial Advisor and Senior Portfolio Advisor at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. He specializes in family wealth management strategies, legacy planning, managing new wealth, personal retirement planning, sports and entertainment, and retirement income. Joseph holds a Bachelor's Degree from McDaniel College and has earned professional designations as a Personal Investment Advisor (PIA) and a Sports & Entertainment Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (SE-AWMA). He works closely with clients to develop personalized financial strategies aligned with their unique goals, emphasizing simplicity and transparency throughout the wealth planning process. Outside of work, Joseph enjoys cooking, golfing, and spending time with his family.

Thomas Law is a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. He works closely with clients to develop comprehensive financial strategies tailored to their individual goals and life plans. His approach emphasizes understanding clients' full financial picture and what matters most to them, allowing him to design personalized wealth management strategies. Thomas’s expertise includes education planning, family wealth management strategies, legacy planning, personal retirement planning, portfolio management services, tax minimization, and retirement income. He holds the Personal Investment Advisor (PIA) designation and earned a bachelor's degree from Salisbury University.
