Cole Boehmer is a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. He joined Merrill and The Boehmer Group in 2025, bringing with him nine years of experience in the asset management industry. Prior to his current role, Cole worked at Columbia Threadneedle Investments as an Advisor Consultant, where he communicated capital market outlooks to financial advisors at brokerage firms and regional banks in Ohio and Western Pennsylvania, focusing on aligning investment solutions with client goals and risk management.
In his role at Merrill, Cole partners with families and business owners through a consultative approach to define their financial goals, develop comprehensive plans, implement strategies, and monitor progress. He leverages the resources of Merrill Lynch Wealth Management to assist clients in various areas including divorce transition planning, education planning, family wealth management, retirement income, and tax minimization. Cole holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) designation and the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) credential.
Cole earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Amherst College in 2016, where he was also a member of the varsity football team. He is originally from Cleveland, Ohio, and is actively involved with the University School Alumni Council. Cole resides in Framingham, Massachusetts with his wife and enjoys biking, cooking, fishing, football, reading, spending time with family, traveling, and watching movies.
