NexJenn Financial Services was founded in response to the demand for financial planning from my tax clients. Often squeezed between spending for their kids’ education, caring for an elderly relative and saving for their own retirement, many were anxious about their financial future. I have enjoyed helping my clients find a balance and focus on building a strong financial future. I am a CPA® and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Professional®, as well as a Retirement Income Certified Professional®. Additionally, I am a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors and the XY Planning Network. In my spare time, my husband and I volunteer at a homeless shelter. I also love to bike and travel and am an aspiring photographer. I have been married for 30 years and together with my awesome husband, we’ve raised three awesome kids.

I launched my firm in July of 2024 to continue working with my clients on my own terms. I work with a wide range of types of clients. However, most of my clients tend to fit into a few archetypes; wealth accumulators, wealth distributors, and business owners. Now that retirement is looming or in motion, you need a plan to distribute your assets and pay your bills. We work together to prepare a distribution plan that coordinates social security, pensions, and distributions from retirement accounts to be the most tax efficient as possible. You've saved all this time, now it is time to enjoy! - Business Owners - My business owner clients fit into a combination of accumulation and distribution. Wherever your business is, we will navigate growing, preserving, and distributing the assets through the lifetime of your business. Everett Thomas is the Vice President and Executive Planning Consultant at Fidelity Investments, where he has been serving since 2021. In this role, he collaborates with leaders on strategies for their lifetime goals through benefits optimization, compensation, and wealth planning. Prior to his current position, he held various roles at Fidelity Investments, including Vice President, Wealth Planner (2018-2021), Financial Consultant (2015-2018), Investment Consultant (2014-2015), Financial Representative (2013-2014), and Trader for the Private Client Group (2010-2013). Everett holds a California Insurance License, which supports his professional practice in financial and wealth planning. Outside of his professional work, he engages in personal interests such as baseball, family activities, fitness, golf, and tennis.

Shawna Tutt is a Planning Consultant at Fidelity Investments, a role she has held since 2025. She has been with Fidelity Investments since 2022, previously serving as a Central Relationship Manager from 2023 to 2025 and as a Transition Services Specialist from 2022 to 2023. Prior to joining Fidelity, Shawna worked as a Private Client Banker at Chase Bank from 2020 to 2022. Shawna focuses on serving clients with patience, clarity, and genuine care, emphasizing what matters most to them. She aims to build trust and simplify each step of the financial planning process to make it approachable, supportive, and grounded in real connection. Outside of her professional work, Shawna enjoys comedy, cooking and baking, family activities, fitness, social events with friends, and music.
