The Work Stuff– My name is Ben Smith, and I am the Founder of Cove Financial Planning, a Certified B Corporation focused on comprehensive financial planning and Socially Responsible Investing. I believe that everyone, regardless of age, occupation, net worth, and investment experience, deserves a customized financial plan and the peace of mind that comes with it. Before starting Cove, I worked for several investment companies, and saw just how boring, complex and off-putting investing can be for many people. Traditional advisors also have a reputation for specifically catering to high-net-worth individuals with a singular focus on account size. My mission is to provide access to high-quality advice to a broader range of people who want to take control of their financial lives (and maybe have some fun in the process!) The Fun Stuff– I’m originally from Minneapolis and have since lived in Chicago and Milwaukee. My wife Kotryna works in investment banking, and while we aren’t at the office, you can find us hanging with our newborn daughter Frances (Francie) or debating nerdy investment topics over a home-cooked meal and a glass of wine. We are big believers in learning new things and staying active. Currently, she’s teaching me how to salsa dance (not going well) and speak Lithuanian (where she’s from), while we both sharpen our tennis skills. We’re proud owners of Apple Watches for the sole purpose of beating each other’s daily fitness activity (feel free to join the competition!) We also travel as often as we can, and we’re always looking for suggestions on places to check out in Europe when visiting her family. Above all else, we both believe that life is about balance. Hi, I’m Jared Andreoli, CFP®, CSLP®, and I launched Simplicity Financial in 2017. As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and a Certified Student Loan Planner (CSLP®), I work with Physicians, Fellows, and residents to develop a financial road map to achieve their financial goals. Whether it be buying a house, paying off student loans, planning for retirement, or planning for a growing family, we work with clients to identify their financial picture and create a plan that aligns with their values. I have been interested in finances ever since I can remember, from being excited about a coin sorter as an 8 year old, to hiding my birthday money in the front cover of my Harry Potter book. In fact, one year, my favorite birthday gift was a book titled The Kids’ Money Book, and it still holds a special place on my bookshelf. Even as a child, I quickly realized that if I diligently managed my money, I could do even more things with this key tool. Another passion of mine has always been helping people achieve success by connecting on a personal level. To me, there is no better feeling than the joy I experience when I have helped someone, whether it be big or small. So, it comes as no surprise that financial planning was an obvious fit for me. After completing a college baseball career and graduating from Western Kentucky University with a finance major with a concentration in financial planning, I spent 6 years working as a mutual fund administrator for a large company. While I learned an immense amount about the financial world, I was missing the personal connection of working with individual clients that I could not find in the corporate world. In 2017, I put my aspirations into action and established Simplicity Financial.

Kyle Kraninger is an Investment Consultant at Fidelity Investments, where he partners with clients to identify their personal and financial priorities and co-create customized financial plans. He aims to build lifelong relationships with clients and their families. Kyle has been with Fidelity Investments since 2022, progressing through roles including Financial Representative, Relationship Manager, Planning Consultant, and currently Investment Consultant. He holds an Arkansas Insurance License. Outside of work, Kyle enjoys cooking and baking, spending time with friends at social events, playing golf, being at the lake, and traveling.

Bridget Pucel is a Financial Consultant at Fidelity Investments, a role she has held since 2024.
