ABEL Financial Management Co.

Hi, I'm Steve. I've loved financial planning ever since I was a kid watching the ticker tape on CNBC as my mom, a homemaker learned about finances herself. I grew up in a very frugal household who taught me about working hard and saving for the future. My mother was a homemaker or "domestic engineer" as she calls it and my father was a federal employee. I was fortunate to be introduced to Rita Abel and become the owner of her small, family owned financial planning firm in 2019. Today we work with approximately 60 families. What makes us unique is our passion to be "accountability partner's" for our clients to ensure they take care of the important financial matters in their lives. We are part financial advisors and party financial therapists for our married couples but most importantly we are organized, proactive and have a passion for financial planning. Looking forward to meeting and if you want to know more, I encourage you to read our google reviews online. Just search "Abel Financial Reviews" in google.

Equal Path Investments

Hi! I help intentional professionals who’ve built financial stability but feel uncertain about how to fund their next chapter—whether that’s rest, reinvention, or retirement. My clients are ready to move beyond cookie-cutter advice in favor of a more educational, transparent, and joyful planning experience. Through our WATER framework, we transform financial complexity into values-aligned clarity for those ready to live with more purpose and freedom. HOW WE'RE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER FLAT-FEE PLANNERS: WATER, not FIRE: We don't treat retirement like a finish line. Our WATER framework supports sabbaticals, slowdowns, and purposeful pivots—designing a life that works now and later. Values Integration: Every plan reflects your priorities—whether that's flexibility, community, impact, or legacy. Customized socially responsible or ESG investment strategies (optional) are offered as part of a broader, values-based planning approach. Education-Focused: With a background in science education and a decade advising MDs, PhDs, and thoughtful professionals, we break down complex concepts into actionable steps, empowering confident financial decisions. WHO I WORK WITH: My clients are growth-oriented professionals—often but not always GenX—who’ve built financial stability and now seek their next chapter. They value evidence-based advice but also ask deeper questions about purpose, joy, and alignment, all while balancing career demands, community responsibilities, and the desire for meaningful change. Proudly based in Tacoma, WA, serving clients nationally. READY TO LEARN MORE? Visit my website to learn more about my journey from Seattle science teacher to financial planner to co-founder of Equal Path Investments. My experience—collaborating with a Nobel laureate, securing millions in funding for impact initiatives, and a decade of investment advising for impact-driven professionals—has shaped my fresh approach to financial planning. Whether you're preparing for a sabbatical, designing an encore career, or balancing your dreams with kid drop-offs or aging parents, I help turn “what’s next?” into “what’s possible.” If this sounds good, please schedule a complimentary consultation today by visiting my website.

Women's Wealth

I help women achieve financial independence (FI), so they can live life on their own terms. I am you. My journey into personal finance started unexpectedly almost 30 years ago when my mother developed cancer and was eventually left disabled. I hired a financial advisor to help my parents with their finances. He sold them expensive load funds (5.75%) that enriched him while hampering their returns. After a year and a half, I caught on, fired him and began overseeing our family’s finances myself. As an investor and financial planner, I’ve noticed that while women have made tremendous strides educationally and professionally, this has not always translated into greater financial security and personal freedom. Why? Based on my experience, a big part of that is the cultural stories that we’ve inherited regarding our roles and responsibilities to others at the expense of ourselves. But, only when we take ownership of our stories can we take ownership of our lives and make the most of our resources, including money. As with any resource, money has its own energy. I can teach you to master it, so it becomes the wind on your back to help you realize your Life’s mission and vision. Our society equates money with wealth. While there is overlap, in my opinion, they are different. Money is the means to live life on our own terms. But, wealth is the recognition that a life well-lived means taking care of ourselves and then our family and our community.
