About

Mark Young believes that wealth management is about more than just numbers—it’s about sleeping better at night. As the founder of Clearview Financial, Mark utilizes his dual expertise as a CPA and CFP® to strip away the complexity of financial planning, providing his clients with a clear, tax-efficient roadmap toward their goals.

With a career spanning over 40 years, Mark has navigated every type of market cycle. This depth of experience allows him to offer a seasoned perspective that is rare in today’s fast-paced world, ensuring that every strategy is stress-tested for long-term success. His philosophy is simple: put the client’s interest above all else and focus on the “peace of mind” that comes from careful planning and rigorous review.

A lifelong San Diegan, Mark is an alumnus of San Diego State University (’83) and Torrey Pines High School (’78). He and his wife are the proud parents of three adult children. When he is not in the office helping clients achieve financial freedom, Mark stays active on the pickleball courts, hiking local trails, or traveling the world with his family.
