Joel Schneider

Errek C. Suhr is an Associate Resident Director and Financial Advisor at Merrill. He joined Merrill in 2011 and serves as Senior Vice President and Resident Director of the Bloomington Merrill office. In his role, he focuses on clients’ goals and concerns by employing a goals-based wealth management process along with global resources and up-to-date Web technology, all designed to help clients pursue their financial objectives. Errek's expertise includes college education planning, family wealth management strategies, personal retirement planning, portfolio management services, and retirement income. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana University and the Personal Investment Advisor (PIA) professional designation. Prior to his financial advisory career, Errek played on the Indiana University Men's basketball team from 2003 to 2007 and is currently a Color Commentator for IU Men's basketball radio. Outside of his professional responsibilities, Errek is active in his community and enjoys volunteering. He has supported organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club of Bloomington and served on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Indiana. Errek enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife Rebekah and their four children, including coaching his daughters’ basketball and softball teams.
