Hi! My name is Joe Forish and I started Fortrove Partners to help technologists deal with challenges of company ownership / equity compensation. From a young age, I learned about maximizing hard work and doing what you do best while working at my father’s auto dealership. I also saw first-hand both the rewards and challenges of running a business. Prior to Fortrove, I honed my expertise investing in public and private equity. I graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Finance and International Business, and from the Harvard Business Analytics Program, with Distinction. In my free time you will find me skiing an evergreen tree-lined run or longboarding when it’s cloudy and glassy. I live in New York City with my wife Linda.

Eric Schwartz is a Senior Financial Advisor and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional with over seven years of experience supporting clients through retirement planning and broader financial decision-making. Before joining Retirable, Eric held planning and leadership roles at several financial firms, including Drucker Wealth Management and Mid Atlantic Retirement Planning Specialist. Across these roles, he worked closely with individuals and families to develop and monitor long-term financial strategies, with a particular focus on retirement transitions and ongoing planning needs. Eric earned a bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning and Finance from the University of Delaware. He obtained his CFP® certification and Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation in 2022, reflecting his commitment to professional standards, fiduciary responsibility, and ongoing education. Eric takes a holistic approach to financial planning, working with clients to understand their goals, concerns, and financial circumstances so they can move forward with clarity and confidence as they plan for the next stage of life.

Treva Nostdahl is a Fiduciary Financial Advisor who focuses on helping clients plan for retirement with clarity and confidence. Before joining Retirable, Treva worked at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., where she supported financial advisors and their clients with retirement planning, account management, and ongoing financial guidance. Her experience spans both client-facing work and behind-the-scenes planning, giving her a well-rounded perspective on the financial planning process. Treva holds a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and a minor in Communication from Regis University in Denver. She is known for her clear, thoughtful approach and her ability to explain complex financial topics in a way that helps clients feel informed and supported as they plan for retirement.

Phillip Defranco is the Managing Member and Chief Compliance Officer of Heartland Northeast LLC, holding a Series 65 designation with one year of industry experience. He has prior experience at Kornett, Inc. and is the owner of Northeast Advocacy Network, Inc., where he also serves as a licensed insurance agent. Heartland Northeast LLC provides investment advisory and portfolio management services to individual and high-net-worth clients, utilizing a combination of analytical methods focused on long-term trading and tailored model allocations. The firm offers both discretionary and non-discretionary management and sponsors a wrap fee program.
