In his role as an investment adviser representative of a registered investment adviser, Alex acts as a fiduciary to clients. Alex founded Tiverton Wealth to provide advice that is aligned with clients’ best interests and structured on a fee-only basis, without commission-based compensation. His approach emphasizes clarity, education, and long-term planning tailored to each client’s circumstances and priorities. Alex earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, with a specialization in Personal Financial Planning, from the C.T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston. He resides in The Heights with his wife, Andrea, their daughter, Zoe, and their dogs. Alex values time with family and community and believes those relationships help shape the care, responsibility, and perspective he brings to his work with clients.

David Charlaff is the sole advisor and managing member of Core Capital Management, LLC, an independent firm based in The Woodlands, TX. He holds Series 63 and Series 65 credentials and has 17 years of industry experience. In addition to his advisory role, Charlaff manages CorePortfolio, LLC, which publishes an investment-related newsletter that he may recommend to clients. Core Capital Management provides financial planning, consulting, and investment management services to individuals, pension and profit-sharing plans, trusts, estates, charitable organizations, and corporate entities. The firm customizes portfolios primarily using individual equities and fixed-income securities, employing a proprietary research process and typically operating on a non-discretionary basis.

Kenton Braun is a CFP®, ChFC®, and holds a Series 65 license, with five years of industry experience. He is the sole advisor at Personal Prosperity LLC and previously worked at MitchellClark & Company. Personal Prosperity LLC is an independent, fee-only registered investment adviser serving individual and high-net-worth clients with tailored investment management and comprehensive financial planning. The firm employs a portfolio construction approach based on Modern Portfolio Theory, combining passive and active strategies, and is notable for its use of borrowing and derivatives within separately managed accounts.

Shaun Taylor is the principal of Taylor Williams Private Wealth Management LLC in Tomball, TX, holding Series 63 and Series 66 licenses with 12 years of industry experience. His prior roles include positions at Fidelity Personal and Workplace Advisors, Centric Advisors LLC, and J.P. Morgan Securities. Outside of financial services, he is involved in sports and entertainment activities through Taylor Williams Worldwide, coaching youth in basketball, golf, track & field, and baseball, as well as DJing events. Taylor Williams Private Wealth Management LLC provides discretionary and non-discretionary asset management, ERISA retirement-plan advisory services, and financial planning to retirement plans, charitable organizations, and other institutional clients. The firm integrates security analysis techniques with client-specific objectives and offers pension consulting and plan services, including acting in a limited-scope 3(21) fiduciary capacity.

My journey in Financial Services began 27 years ago when I graduated from Baylor University. I studied Economics and Quantitative Business Analysis and knew I wanted to work in Financial Services. That led to my first Financial Advisor role with American Express Financial Advisors (now Ameriprise). Over the years I have held numerous positions at different Investment and Advisory firms. I've had the opportunity to learn from some of the best advisors in the industry. Over that time, I formed my core investment beliefs, and I am now thrilled to incorporate them into SF Planning Group LLC. I believe that everyone should have a personalized and sound financial plan.
